This was a good way to get to the cruise terminal in Southampton. I appreciated being picked up from our Airbnb. The driver (I think his name was John) was great. I would use this service again if taking another cruise out of Southampton.

Our driver, Gregory, was easy to find in the airport and answered our questions about our destination. It was very easy to arrange for our taxi needs thru Viator.

Once we were able to locate our driver......I have four texts from the travel provider that were sent after we cleared customs. Our bags were a bit delayed coming off the plane. The location for pick up was a bit confusing, the provider telling us SHORT term parking lot for pickup but employees at the airport told us there was no place called SHORT term parking. After an hour I finally called the company, they told me the driver was stuck in Heathrow traffic and would be coming soon. After two hours of waiting, the driver arrived. The company then told me since they only have an hour "grace" period for pickup, they would charge us extra!!!! I guess London traffic was our fault. First time with Viator we have been charged an "extra" fee. Driver was actually very pleasant and got us to Southampton safely.

We’re very sorry for the confusion at Heathrow. The pickup location we provide — the Short Stay Car Park — is the designated area for all pre-booked private hire collections at the terminal, though we understand the name can sometimes cause confusion when relayed by airport staff.
Regarding the additional fee, our service includes one hour of complimentary waiting time from the scheduled pickup. When baggage delays exceed that window, additional parking and driver waiting charges apply, as outlined in our booking terms. That said, we always do our best to be flexible, particularly when airport traffic or delays are involved.

The driver was waiting for us after we claimed our baggage. He took our bags and made sure we were comfortable in his car. The ride was long as expected but the driver was very pleasant throughout.

Shaun our driver was amazing. He did such a wonderful job. Only issue was the companies representatives whom answered the phone to help us out while at the airport. They did not give Shaun our contact info. We had to call a few times to get in contact directly with Shaun to find directions to meet him.

Door to door service at its best! The company were in touch with us beforehand and put our mind at rest that our trip was going to be hassle free. We were met at the airport escorted to our car and then dropped at the door of our hotel. Fantastic service!

Traffic delayed the driver but it was totally understandable since we saw the incoming flow as we left.
Abdul was courteous and friendly. He got us th Heathrow with plenty of time before our flight which had been our biggest concern.

Upon our arrival at Heathrow London and recognizing a driver was not waiting for us, we called the company only to learn our driver had car trouble and was not available. We were not given any prior notification of this situation. We waited at terminal 3 in the short term parking for 1 1/2 hours before a substitute driver arrived. Not the service we paid for nor was any compensation given even though we asked. We do not recommend this service. We gave 2 stars only because they eventually did send transport.

First off, our driver that eventually took us to LHR, Kevin, was amazing and gave us a good end to an otherwise nightmare experience. We arranged for transport from the cruise terminal at 8 am on debarkation day to Heathrow over a month in advance. A few days prior, we received the driver details and confirmed our ride. Day of debarkation, we were waiting at the pickup area starting at 7:45. By 8:02, I started messaging the company via Viator asking if we were in the correct place or to get an update. I did not get a response after 15 minutes and still no driver. I began a chat multiple times on the company website only to be told that they “missed our chat” and would get back to us. By 8:20, we began calling the company and told that our driver was 10 minutes away. On the phone, they stated that they had tried to contact us, but the only missed call I had from them came through while sitting on hold. 20 minutes passed and still no driver. I received a new booking text with information for a driver that was not the original driver, but when we called again to enquire, we were told that the delay was still simply because of traffic and there was nothing that could be done. We eventually got our ride over an hour late, and Kevin was amazing and got us to the airport in time. The company though did not honestly communicate about the delay and did nothing to help us remedy the situation except blame the driver. I did get an apology 3 hours later stating that the original driver had car trouble. Why was this not honestly stated at the beginning? Terrible experience and would not recommend if you like seamless and worry-free travel experiences.

This meant we had to urgently reassign your booking to another driver to avoid cancellation altogether. While we did pass along updates, we understand that the communication you received did not provide the clarity or reassurance you expected.

Impossible to connect with office to arrange pickup. Could not communicate with operator, put on hold for 5+ minutes and she never picked back up.
Driver was fine once we were able to find him, not his fault. We had to get help from airport staff.

It was convenient and much more hassle free than using cruise’s own airport transportation. Our driver Ian arrived ahead of schedule and met us right after we exited. We did not have to deal with the crowd.

Our driver arrived early because he knew better than we did that it would not take long to get through customs etc. He was very flexible, communicated with us and met us at the airport. Let customers know you only pay 15 pounds more if you want the driver to come in and greet you with a name sign as you come out of luggage claim. I would have taken this option if I had known it was available. More confusing to try to find your driver once you leave the luggage area. The driver came in and I didn’t know he did and I went outside and it took some time to find each other. I still paid the fee for the driver to come in but since I didn’t know he was doing that our paths crossed.

Just to clarify for future travellers – the standard service includes a pickup outside the arrivals area, while the Meet & Greet upgrade (an additional £15) provides your driver waiting inside with a name sign. This option is listed at the time of booking, but we’ll certainly review how it’s presented to make sure it’s as clear as possible.
