It was OK. Alexa was very knowledgeable. A graveyard thrown in would have been nice. Don't pay the extra $ for extended 30 min tour of 4 places as they no longer exist.

I liked that we walked and saw a couple of interesting houses but otherwise there was nothing. I don’t think the guide was into the spooky theme, the narration was dull and the stories were neither funny nor scary.

It was ok. There were too many people in our group (26 is definitely too many) for us to really be able to hear the guide even with the microphone on the highest volume. Plus the guide really didn't have any personality, it felt like relating facts. The good part was that the facts we could hear were interesting and the areas were pretty.

Unfortunately our guide was not a good presenter/storyteller. She jumped around a lot in the middle of a story, said some statements and then corrected herself and added other side comments rather than just staying on point. She also never welcomed us as a group , never introduced herself, and every time she crossed a crosswalk, she would jump out and quickly run across….rather than waiting for everyone to be sure they safely crossed. She seemed nervous a bit and uncomfortable. Sorry but it was not a good ghost walk experience.

The tour was alright. It was hard to hear the guide due to traffic and his speaker not being loud enough. However the information I did hear was interesting and the stories were engaging. I do wish the stories were a little bit scarier though.

Meeting place differed from what was listed. When I called the contact number, I was told a different place. There were 7 total on the tour. I mentioned to the guide about the misleading meeting point & he said that it had happened before.
Entire ghost tour was underwhelming (my significant other & I have been on other ghost tours before). This one was not worth the money. It last an hour & we walked a mile. Guide was not very enthusiastic about his recap of historic events. His lame jokes were not very impressive either. When tour was over, it was still pretty light out.

Chris was an incredible guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and just the right amount of spooky. From the moment the tour started outside the Capitol building, he set the tone with captivating stories and historical facts that brought Raleigh’s haunted past to life. Our tour was great!! Our tour guide, Wendy, was awesome! She is from Raleigh, so not only did she have a lot of fun ghost stories, she also gave some history lessons along the way as well. We did this as a valentine date and there were other couples as well, which made it fun. Wendy made sure she had personal interactions with all of us in the tour, which I really liked because it made it more of a group experience. I would highly recommend the tour, but I would suggest that you ask for Wendy as your guide so you can have a great time!

Excellent tour! We went on NYE and really enjoyed ourselves. The tour content was very interesting and Wendy our guide had a lot of cool stories about each of the houses. Id certainly recommend going on a tour with her to anyone who is interested in the history of Raleigh and any spirits in some of the oldest locations.

We had a nice time! We’ve done many ghost tours and it’s always fun way to learn about the cities and a little history background. Our guide was nice and knowledgeable. But the stories were mediocre.

The presenter was awesome. But it would have been better to actually visit the places supposedly haunted. Stories are stories but being in the places would be more meaningful.

It was a nice tour. However, do to road noise it was difficult to hear the guide. We suggest a portable amplification system to ensure all can hear the guide.
