What To Expect
Ideal for wine lovers, this small group winery tour provides you access a premiere winery in the Punta del Este region and leaves you satisfied with a gourmet lunch. Start your 4-hour tour with hotel pickup and a comfortable ride by private car or minivan (depending on the size of your group).
At arrival to the winery you are treated to a wine tasting of different varietals including merlot, syrah, viognier and, of course, tannat — a red wine made from one of Uruguay’s most prominent grapes. Select your favorite one for a refill before a private tour of the vineyard with your guide, and learn about local winemaking traditions from the owner and winemaker.
Settle in for a three-course gourmet lunch accompanied by two wines. With a scenic vineyard as your backdrop, feast on typical Uruguayan dishes such as lamb, fresh fish and pasta. After lunch, admire more countryside views during a tour of the property.
Knowledgeable about Uruguay’s wine, you ’ll be returned to your Punta del Este hotel.

An excellent off-the-ship excursion to a very nice vineyard with a substantial lunch and extensive wine tasting. This was exactly what the tour operator advertised in the tour description. Our guide/driver was pleasant, fluent in English, and knowledgeable. Overall, high value-for-money--our small group was quite pleased with this tour. A winner!!
