Your tour starts at Anna Bay—an hour north of Newcastle—where you’ll hop in your funky 4WD truck and head down to Birubi beach before exploring the Stockton Sand Dunes. After hitting the dunes in your 4WD, you’ll have a chance to speed down the towering dunes on sandboards, before heading back to the start point.

We were late on the day as therr were so many road works from Tanilba bay to Anna bay. My sister went there almost 1 min late and I arrived about 7 min late as I had to park the car in a carpark provided I thought it was for adventure.
But the carpark is for the all customers for a restaurant and the beach. Anyway we went there after the safari 4wd left.
We were in a big trouble. But Frank!! He saved us. He lead us to the place where the party were.
While driving us there he gave us all informations we should know. We arrived safely and joined other party.
Tours are the same as other people said. It was great and really good. Sandboarding is very safe. Anyone can do it!!!
I deeply thank FRANK and the guide George? I am sorry I am not quite sure his name.
What a PERFECT customer service was which I had never experienced.

I never write bad reviews (please check for yourself)… This is the first! A friend and I booked on this tour and were put with 16 other members, all English. Now it was packed and we didn’t get a window seat, however, all good right? Wrong! The 16 members were from the same family and we were ignored and made to feel like we were naughty school kids interrupting their private tour. The tour provider could have warned us or offered to move us, next tour only had 3 people in a massive 4x4. WORST TOUR I’VE EVER PAID for - seeking 50% back of cost. That’s being delayed!

We were with the 10am tour. Felt like we 6 people own the whole desert. Our tour guide's very friendly and structful. Will for sure recommemd 4WD Tour to our friends.
