Had a great time with Danny as our tour guide! Very responsive, easy to reach on Whatsapp and on email ahead of our tour which put me at ease, and clear communication on meeting points and timings etc. We had such a blast visiting the petting farm, learning about the history of Margaret River and the region (Danny is very knowledgeable!), and there was plenty of time for shopping for artisanal goods (they make for great gifts!). The wineries we visited were great, all family owned and very warm people. Ended up buying three bottles of wine at fantastic prices and quality. Also made friends with the entire tour group and we went out to a bar for drinks after the tour :) Would highly recommend this tour as a must-do during your time in Margaret River!

Wow what a day!! Dani was great, full of so much knowledge of the surrounding areas & knows his wine very well…. He made the tour enjoyable and so much fun. We had a delicious lunch included. Taken to some awesome places which included over 28 wine tastings. It was a GREAT DAY
we highly recommend this experience.

Guide was excellent, good communication prior to pickup, polite, courteous and an excellent knowledge of the area, vineyards, history and wines.
The breakfast was superb and included a trip to a farm to see and feed various local animals and a chance introduce ourselves and to chat with the others on the tour.
Each of vineyards was was different and had a good selection to taste. Before the first we visited a small shop to sample locally made chocolate, after the first vineyard we were taken to a lovely place for lunch with a great choice. The food and service was excellent.
We weren’t so impressed with the second vineyard who seemed a little stingey with their wine samples and made us share a glass between each couple!
The third vineyard was very good, a very friendly and helpful host.
On the trip back to our hotel we stopped to look at some wild kangaroos, a nice touch and great end to the tour

It’s great to read how much you enjoyed the day overall, from the morning tea at the farm to the addition of a stop to spot wild kangaroos, your tour guide Gregg’s knowledge, and the depth with which we approach every aspect of the tour. That’s exactly the kind of experience we create — not just having a driver hopping between wineries, but something authentic and truly special along the way.
I also understand your comment about the second winery and appreciate the feedback. Of course I took it seriously and met with the winery’s owners to look into it and properly understand what happened. Just to clarify that part — they are definitely not trying to be stingy, and there would never be any expectation or obligation for guests to share a glass.
This particular tasting took place at a very small-batch, quality-focused winery (as all the wineries we visit on this tour), and the approach on the day was intended as an option to allow you to explore a broader range of wines while staying within responsible service — not something imposed.
That said, I can see how communication may not have come across as intended, and that’s something I’ve already followed up directly with the winery’s owners to make sure it’s clearer moving forward.

A terrific day, with Ziggy a fantastic host. Started with being picked up at our resort before picking up our fellow travellers. Without spoiling the specifics Zigggy easd us into the day creating a friendly atmosphere. And by days end we had made 10 new friends from all over the world. Nothing ever felt rushed. The lunch stop was superb and of course we did get to taste some lovely wines (and even some not so lovely depending on your tastes!) all from very knowledgeable wine makers. Highly recommended with the day providing a great example of Margaret River's offerings.

Thanks to Dani for a well put together tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of the day….scones & wildlife, wine tasting, sea views, chocolate tasting, olive oil tasting, lunch, wine tasting….more wine tasting!. We think we tasted 30 wines during the day. Dani’s commentary was informative and made for a very enjoyable day…we’re very glad he was driving! Thank you.

Tasted how many? Lets be clear: this happens throughout 7 hours of the day, with lunch and other experiences in between. But yes, you're not thirsty at the end of the day...

The farm with alpacas and Emu's is in the itenerary because you get your scones and coffe served there. Chocolat tasting takes not even 5 minutes but the shop is nice. Stop at the coast is interesting because of the story about Grace. Wine tasting was at a nice spot and 8 wines. Lunch at Olio was very good and there you have plenty of time to walk through the shop and taste the about 18 different olive oils and see all the products. Two more wine tastings were interesting, but a bit much probably. (8 wines and 6 wines, a gin and limoncello). Greg is the friendliest driver/guide. A bit more communication would be very helpfull though. Where do we go. How long does it take, where are the toilets, info about the history of the destinations. Since he is a good story teller and the tour has the name 'all about MR', i would also like to hear more about the history of MR. First people, how did they get here, how did they live, how was the timber industy,... Instead of Greg running around to get our coffee and scones ready at the farm.

Thanks for your useful and honest words Wendy! There's a lot mentioned, and of course I take your feedback and suggestions very seriously. I must say though, we love to share as much as we can of what we know about Margaret River, but there's naturally too much for just one day, while keeping the day light, unrushed, entertaining and enjoyable.
One thing that I can't run past, and please don't take me wrong: the emus and alpacas are not there because of the scones. The experience of getting so close to these rare animals is a nice highlight of the day for most.
You can leave this matter with us, of course we'll work on it!
In the end, it's great to know that you still had a great day! After all, that's what matters the most!

A really varied itinerary. The visit to the farm for morning tea was fabulous. We had a close-up encounter with the alpacas and fed emus. The chocolate stop was okay. I didn't see a lot of people buying the merchandise. The lunch was excellent. It exceeded our expectations. We were offered an enormous amount of wine to taste. I'm not a wine expert so can't vouch for the credentials of the vineyards, but we did end up buying a case of mixed wines. Dani was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable, amiable and entertaining. Highly recommend the tour

We can’t recommend this tour highly enough. Our guide Ziggy was an absolute legend. We had the best day and this is definitely the best way to get a taste of some of the real hidden gems of Margaret River.

A visit to some of the smaller family owned vineyards is a must! Dani was very informative and gave us a lot of history about the area and a quick visit to a beach. We loved meeting the wine makers who followed their grapes all the way from the vine to the glass. A very interesting tour.

Loved this tour and cannot recommend it more! Dani was an excellent guide and driver. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the region. Starting the day with a visit to the farm stay, where we fed the animals and enjoyed a light breakfast, really set this experience apart from others we’ve done in the past. We had our teenage daughter with us, so it was great that the tour included a variety of stops beyond just wineries. Lunch at Olio Bello was a highlight, and we appreciated that this tour supported local, family-run businesses.

So it was a rainy, grey day when we woke up to the our wine tour but I have to say that didn’t change how fun, memorable and great value this trip was. Dani was a great host/driver and we got so much out of the day. Great wineries with around 21+ tastings altogether, amazing food!! And the chocolate shop and petting zoo were a nice touch.

Hey Kwame! Yep, I said it many times, rain suits red wine, and definitely isn't a reason to stop doing what we do.
Just one comment: it's not a zoo, it's an actual farm. Proven each time the alpacas have a different idea to ours hahaha!
