Beautiful scenery. Well organized. Knowledgeable guide.

Yen_C, Apr 2026
Well organized. Knowledgeable guide. Ample time to walk around the Cliffs of Moher. Not sure if it was just extra windy the day I visited (30+ mph), but that’s likely too blustery for small children or anyone who has mobility issues.

Good Way to See the Cliffs

Stephanie_S, Apr 2026
The bus was clean and comfortable, and it was easy to find the meeting spot. The first half of the trip was nice. The cliffs were lovely and the lunch stop was good. After lunch was a drive through the Burren. It was nice for awhile, but it felt like it took about twice as long to drive back as it did to drive to the cliffs. It just felt really long, so that is my only complaint. It got long and a bit boring at the end. We had a driver, but not really a guide, so that have been part of it.

Don’t be late

Alex_L, Nov 2025
Don’t be 6 minutes late…They will leave you and say too bad. I called multiple times to give them warning that we would be a few minutes late as well.

Easy to plan

Heather_B, Oct 2025
It's not difficult to arrange the reservation , the drivers are very knowledgeable and they make this experience very pleasant. The food and staff at the Frantic chef were very respectful and the meal was delicious and a very good selection, seating on the bus was very comfortable

Amazing experience

Michael_L, Sep 2025
The tour was a great experience to see the stunning scenery and the cliffs of Moher in county Clare. The tour guide Kevin made the journey really enjoyable with a superb history lesson on the way. Would highly recommend.

Amazing adventure!

Great time and beautiful landscapes. Would highly recommend. Our driver and guide was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor 👏

Great Time at the Cliffs! Tour was exceptional!

Nick_C, Sep 2025
Great experience, very well organized and kept to schedule. I felt I had time to explore the Cliffs of Moher, restaurant afterwards was very nice and accommodating to coach travelers. Our guide was incredible and warm, had lots of knowledge regarding Irish history which I loved. I left from Limerick but this tour also can leave from Cork where most of the people on the coach traveled, there were only a few seats for Limerick so if traveling solo from Limerick you might not get a window seat.

The Cliffs of Moher were stunning! Kevin gave so much information while maneuvering the bus with such precision in very narrow roadways and through the Burrens. We had a great day!

Cliffs were stunning. Our guide was great. The stop for lunch was cafeteria style, food was just ok. Would have loved more time to explore Bunratty castle.

Fun excursion!

Danielle_K, Sep 2025
We caught the tour out of Limerick and had a great time! The coach bus was clean, AC worked well, and our driver Ziko was fantastic and a good DJ! Our tour guide Martin was funny and I’m looking forward to his cookbook. The cliffs of course were just gorgeous! I’d highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful views of the cliffs. Very windy so hang on to your hats. Croakies for glasses would be useful. Our guide was very knowledgeable.

Great day, not a great bus ride.

Rebecca_S, Aug 2025
The information that was given was fine albeit somewhat difficult to understand at times due to the Italian accent of the guide. The scenery was beautiful and we had a perfect day to view the cliffs. Often times information being presented was given last minute as the bus was traveling 80kmh and we were nearly past or past what was being described before a photo could be taken. The main drawback of the day was that it was 21-23 c outside and sunny and the bus was at capacity and the air conditioning didn’t work the entire journey. Temperature inside the bus reached 27c easily which is uncomfortable to say the least. All that was offered was “we tried to fix it but couldn’t, sorry and air con isn’t often needed in Ireland .” In my opinion these are not acceptable and this is something that should have been checked before departure. Others I spoke with on the tour felt the same. The driver otherwise did a good job of keeping us on time and navigating the very narrow roads in great fashion. I likely wouldn’t use this company again.

Lots of walking up hill/ stairs to get to the good views, but absolutely worth it. Wonderful day and our driver and guide were wonderful!

JAMES_M, Aug 2025
Viator didn't i form us how long of a ride it took to get to our meeting spot. Very long ride into Limerick, we missed the. Us because of that

Too long

Lisa_H, Aug 2025
The cliffs and lunch were nice but the ride through Burrens was uneventful. Should skip and go to Bunratty castle

No Connection from Cruise Ship

Sandra_M, Aug 2025
If booking from a cruise ship, note that there is no connection from the port to Limerick. We had no option to get to starting point and could not take the tour.

Paddywagon was the...

Jule_O, Jul 2025
Paddywagon was the company used by Viator for a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher. Trip info did not give any indication that Limerick would be the second pickup location. The bus was 20 minutes late arriving in Limerick, no one was onsite to give any information. I called the Dublin and Cork Paddywagon offices to find out the status. Tour guide was not apologetic for the lateness, blamed it on the passengers not getting on the bus in Cork in a timely manner. Got on the bus and only single seats remained, could not sit next to our travel partners. Martin made NO effort to accommodate us or inform us of the itinerary for the day. At first stop we were given a time to return to the bus, and guess what? Same passengers from Cork were late and delayed the departure. NOT FUN! I asked if we could choose any seat after this stop and was told we could not. How fair is this to the second group of paying passengers to get stuck for the entire day sitting by strangers and not with their traveling companions? TOTALLY SUCKS. Seats should be open to choose after each stop on the tour, it would only be FAIR! The tour included a stop at the Cliffs of Moher, lunch stop nearby and a quick stop at Bunratty Castle. Definitely would not recommend using Paddywagon Tours, absolutely no decent customer service, tour guide could have been more informative and personable.

Cliffs of Moher make this...

Steve_L, Jul 2025
Cliffs of Moher make this trip worth it. Driver got us there early so we had an extra 15 minutes which was great. Other stops were okay. Lunch stop was fantastic.

Do not use, if on a cruise!

Kim_C, Jul 2025
The port is about 45 minutes away. We knew this and accounted for it in advance. This excursion is seven hours and I double checked that we would be back by 4:30. They said 4:36 at the latest. We booked a taxi to pick us up between 4:30 and 4:45 and he said he would wait (and he did). However, when we got to Bunratty Castle the tour guide told us to be back to the bus by 4:35. We were still 20 minutes away from Limerick. When I questioned that they promised to have us back by 4:30 we just received an, “I’m sorry”. Well us and several others who were also on the ship decided to leave in a taxi back to Limerick. It cost us 45 euros from Bunratty to Limerick. But it was the only way to ensure we would make it to our taxis back to Foynes since the last tender back to the ship was at 6:00. We got back to the ship with only 15 minutes to spare. It was a definitely a good call on our parts. I am very disappointed in this company and will never use them again. I only gave them three stars because they showed up on-time and our time at the cliffs was perfect. After leaving the cliffs you are taken for lunch with only one choice of restaurants (it was pretty pricey), but at least had a lot of options. Then we drove for two hours to the Burren with no bathroom break. There is also no bathroom on the bus. When you arrive at Bunratty they tell you there is no time to go inside. I personally would have rather skipped the Burren and had ample time at Bunratty castle. All in all, I would personally skip this excursion if you are coming in on a cruise ship….its just too much hassle.

Most memorable trips in Ireland

Jo_P, Jun 2025
One of the most memorable tips in Ireland. It was my first outing to see the beauty of Irish land. Beautiful mountains along the way scenic views.. and loved the limestone mountains along my way back from the bus. Very comfortable as there was no one besides my seat too..;) but a single girl on the opposite seat was sleeping the entire scenic journey:D Bus operator made it very pleasant journey with his soft Irish commanding voice he makes sure to unsure you have details of every area you pass by. Thank you viator for making this trip memorable. See u for the next trip.
