Our private tour to Montes and Viña VIK was absolute perfection from start to finish. Our guide and driver, Leo, was the ultimate professional—knowledgeable, attentive, and made the logistics of the day effortless.
At Montes, our tour with Eric was deeply insightful, providing a great look into their iconic winemaking process. We also visited the breathtaking Viña VIK, where Catalina and Consuelo guided us through an unforgettable tasting in a truly stunning setting.
A major highlight of the day was lunch at Fuegos de Apalta. Watching the chefs work over the open fire was a spectacle in itself. We had the Sea Bass and the Ribeye Steak, both cooked to perfection over the flames—the smoky flavors were incredible and paired beautifully with the local wines.
This tour is a must for anyone visiting the region. Thank you to Leo and the entire team for a five-star experience!

I have a few issues with the experience:
1. The reservation requirement minimum two persons. It is not solo traveler friendly. I am willing to pay for some surcharge for single person but I had to pay double amount because there was no option for single person. It became very costly.
2. The experience was underwhelming. Montes and VIK are two prestigious wineries but the wines offered for tasting were unremarkable. Some other visitors shared the same view.
3. I waited to write my review till I completed two-day wine tasting in Mendoza to have a fair comparison. The experience with wineries in Mendoza, which are all in the same league as Montes and VIK, was so much better. A few examples of comparison: Montes and VIK each poured 3 tastings but all wineries in Mendoza poured 5. Montes and VIK didn’t offer any possibility to customize the tasting or add any other wines outside of the tasting list while wineries in Mendoza included some older vintage wines or special collections, and often allowed visitors to buy additional glasses or taste different wines in their restaurants. Most wineries in Mendoza provided paring food as part of the experience while Montes and VIK didn’t. The wines in Mendoza were also more interesting. Total cost of my two-day tasting in six top wineries (5 pours at each place) and two lunches (one of them was Michelin stared Casa Vigil) with private transport in Mendoza is about the same as the cost of this wine tour with two wineries (3 pours at each and no food)!

O guia simplesmente não apareceu. Ficamos esperando mais de uma hora esperando no hotel e só conseguimos alguma informação, pois a Viator nos ajudou. Lamentavelmente, não fizemos o tour! A frustração foi enorme, pois era uma experiência que estávamos esperando muito. A Viator foi perfeita na assistência, mas a agência local só entrou em contato conosco depois de mais de três horas. Um absurdo! A agência local era Ecotours Chile.

Fue un estupendo paseo de un día! Daniel fue un estupendo guía y muy conocedor de la Zona. Cris y el hicieron todo lo posible por coordinar todo nuestro paseo lo mejor posible!
Colchagua es lejos De Santiago, pero vale mucho la pena dedicarle el tiempo a esta zona maravillosa de viñedos .
Vik y Montes son vinícolas premium y vale la pena visitarlas. Nosotros comimos en Viu Manent y fue estupendo!

O tour foi excelente, o Daniel quem nos levou para Vik e depois para Montes, onde almoçamos e também fizemos o tour!
