Overview
Each June, humpback whales migrate past Kalbarri on their journey from the nutrient-dense Southern Ocean to breeding grounds in warmer waters, returning south each August. Look out for these majestic creatures playing, frolicking and basking—sometimes with a southern right whale or two—on a guided whale-watching trip with knowledgeable crew and great views from all areas of the deck. Bring your own drinks and snacks to make the most of it.

We had the most magical day out whale watching from Kalbarri. We saw so many whales playing around heading south down the coast. The weather was perfect, if you’re up this way, be sure to check them out.

Take your drinks and food as nothing supplied. It’s only 2.5 hours which is the perfect amount of time to see whales and head back in.

The tour is amazing, especially when the season is right. It might take 15-20mins to find the whales, but once you are among them, you see a lot of them around you

WONDERFUL!!! We appreciated the approach at beginning with the Tour operator offering a refund or o postponement due to medium wave highness; very professional! We chose to do the tour and it was awesome; we spotted 7 whales very closely and saw also a cute whale calf

There was a lot of activity from the whales on the day we did the tour. To also help with the experience the weather, although cold was great. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

We had a blast. From 15 minutes he head numerous whales breach’s and pups playing. Staff were great with great knowledge of the area and the whales. Would do it again great bang for your buck.

Thanks for taking the time to review us however we are a little confused with the no whales as promised comment . We guarantee seeing whales on our whale watching tours (or you are offered the next tour for free) . Obviously sightings & interactions can vary from tour to tour & whale behaviour is something entirely out of our control as they are wild animals. We have received another review on Google Reviews from another customer who was on tour the same day, as per below- pictures of whales can be seen in the pictures she has uploaded.

Saw more then I thought I would definitely didn't dissapoint. Ayden has great knowledge and loved the banana superstition. Fair dinkum great whale tour!!! 100 percent reccomend doing this if you haven't
