The $50 fee is twice as much as other companies in Ometepe charge and you get nothing for the extra money. Torrential rain on my hiking day but the company was obstinately against allowing any changes, leading to a dangerous experience for me and my guide. I had given them my dietary requirements but the snacks provided included ingredients I couldn’t eat, so was forced to hike for 10hrs in the rain without food. DO NOT book this; wait until you get to Ometepe and book with any other company.

Es una ruta de trekking bien exigente, se tardan aprox 4h subiendo y 4 bajando, la bajada es de mucho cuidado por lo empinado que es, fuera de eso totalmente recomendado, una vista impresionante desde la cima
