I took part in this perfume experience and I really enjoyed it. I have done similar experiences in other European cities, and I can confidently say that this one comes closest to my idea of what a truly complete perfume experience should be. The journey is very well structured: it starts with an introduction and a historical overview, then moves on to recognizing different scents, and finally reaches the highlight of the experience—the creation of the perfume itself.
The person leading the workshop is not just a passionate enthusiast, but someone who has clearly studied the subject and demonstrates real knowledge and professionalism throughout. The location is central, welcoming, and pleasant, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend this experience. It is also a great activity to consider doing with friends, as sharing it together makes it even more special.

It was a really great experience. I hadn’t used perfume for a long time because I didn’t know where to start or what kind of scents I actually liked.
During the session, in a very didactic and entertaining way, I learned about the origins of perfumery and some of the main accords used in fragrance formulas.
It was quite a challenge to smell, classify, and understand what each accord evoked for me, but through that process I was finally able to identify which notes suit me best and even create my own perfume.
It was also very enjoyable to hear the opinions of the other participants and share impressions; that exchange made the experience even richer. It truly sparked my curiosity and made me want to keep exploring this world.
It’s clear that Ananias really knows his craft—his knowledge and passion come through, and time just flew by. Highly recommended.

I recently attended this perfumery workshop and it was such a beautiful experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere was calm, elegant, and so thoughtfully put together — the kind of setting that immediately makes you want to slow down and pay attention to every detail.
What I loved most was how inviting the whole process felt. We got to smell and explore different raw ingredients, learn where they come from, and understand how they’re used in real fragrances. The explanations were clear and interesting, never overwhelming, and there was plenty of time to ask questions, experiment, and just enjoy the moment.
I left with a completely new appreciation for perfume — not just as something we wear, but as a form of art and storytelling. It was a genuinely inspiring, sensory experience, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves scent, creativity, or simply wants to do something a little different and meaningful.

We wanted to try something unique so we came across this experience.
We were greeted very nicely.
We got an introduction about Parfumes and the history.
Afterwards we could smell some base elements.
After we've build a solid base for some scents we could create our own Parfume.
We got a Base smell and then could add whatever we want (note that we always could get help and ask for recommendations).
It was super nice and I would recommend everyone to try this experience!

Ananias Potamitis spoke with great passion about scents, guiding us through the experience and art of creating perfume.
He took his time and let us do a lot ourselves. He was well-prepared. There was absolutely no commercial sales talk like “buy this or that from me.”
In fact, his own handmade perfume isn’t even for sale yet (a pity — I would have gladly bought some from him).

It was a surprise to find such a unique activity in Groningen. The 3-hour long session was an entryway for people passionate about perfumes or people that are seeking for new experiences in the town. I fully enjoyed the session, starting with some historical background, leading to practicalities, meaning sorting out smells and, if you are lucky enough, to put together your own perfume;) The session is pleasantly intense, tho I wished it was even longer. Overall, great initiative for having this kind of events in our city, and Ananias is sooooo inspiring!!!

I truly enjoyed my visit at this Experience! The atmosphere was relaxing, the scents were amazing, and Ananias made me feel very welcome. I especially loved the fun game of guessing the aromas—it made the whole experience even more unique and memorable. Highly recommended!

Such a wonderful experience! From the very beginning, it felt like stepping into a whole new world, with the fascinating historical background on perfumes and all the interesting facts we learned.
My favorite part was when we were given different scents to smell and write down the notes we recognized; it felt like both a game and a learning process at the same time. And of course, creating our very own perfume at the end was the perfect highlight. I left with something personal that will always remind me of this experience.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different, creative, and truly inspiring!

I have to admit that I'm very excited after the experience that Ananias has organized for us. It is very interesting, informative and interactive. We had fun while learning so many things about perfumes and their ingredients. Of course the highlight was the creation of our own perfume! The host is friendly and eager to explain everything. Thank you very much Ananias. I would definitely recommend this experience!

Marvelous, fantastic, strongly recommended!!!
For my friends and me was our first time doing a perfume testing.
The instructor was excellent!!! At the begging he travelled us through the history of perfume. A quick but very interesting journey from ancient Egypt to Paris belle epoque and from near past to current industrial guidelines.
The fun part was when we played a game of smelling and guessing the ingredients of several perfumes. It was very intriguing and challenging between us!
At the end there was a practical session on mixing the ingredients to make some specific perfumes. Outstanding!!!
