The operator was good, their job was to get us to the island and back which they did, they’re not a guide as advertised only a taxi service. The problem is with Viator advertising that they’d provide snorkel equipment yet operator had none or what they had were broken, old, dirty snorkels. We were able to see the turtles pop their heads up from the beach but couldn’t see them in the water due to poor equipment.

Hello,
We do our best to provide equipment in good condition and we renew it regularly. However, we kindly ask for some understanding regarding the equipment, as most of the people it is used by do not take proper care of it and apply large amounts of sunscreen, which can cause mold to appear.
We make every effort to clean our masks regularly, but it is possible that you may occasionally receive equipment that is worn due to frequent use. For this reason, the best option is to bring your own snorkeling equipment.
We will also remove from the Viator description the mention that masks and snorkels are provided, in order to avoid misunderstandings, negative comments, and issues related to damaged or unreturned equipment.
