Although our guide Jerry was lovely and interesting. We expected more information regarding Dingle history culture and a variety of food samples from various restaurants/pubs/vendors as it was described in the advertising of the experience. What we got was 2 meals, ice cream, and 3 beer samples. We were not offered a gin sampling. This experience was pricey given the experience.

Dylan our Taste Guide was awesome, Made us feel right at home. Shared great food and drinks along with great history of Dingle. Highly recommend this activity.

Dylan was fantastic - it ended up just being my wife and I on a tour and we had a fantastic walk around Dingle! He was everything you'd want in a tour guide; knowledgeable, chatty, fun and educational and we had a great time!

Dingle Meal Tour

Food tour was really 2 meals. The meals were very good. Was scheduled to have a beer tasting at Dickie Mack’s brewery. Guide left waiting with group for an hour for brewery guide. She never showed because she was waiting for a plumber!!!! Guide poured two beer samples. Went on to a fish and chips then off for ice cream. It was getting late and needed to go to a shop before closing so left tour at Murphy’s ice cream stop. Did not stay for mixed drink offered. Guide was personable. Needed help with managing a tight group on tour into integrating with whole group. Would have liked to hear about Dingle shop/building/area history. As described in advertising. Only reference was to oldest not functioning pub as we walked by and 200 year old building for brewery. Stops with snack size plates would be more in line with other food tours from Viator and other groups.

While the tour was undeniably pleasant and benefited greatly from Dylan's local knowledge, we couldn't help but feel that it was a bit on the pricey side. Despite this, the unique experience of having a local guide and the quality of the food and drink made it a memorable afternoon in Dingle.

Cancelled but also got an email that it was charged through -- disappointing

This trip was cancelled...although it was confusing because I saw an email on Thursday saying it was charged through but missed the email saying it was cancelled.

Hi Renee, We are very sorry you were dispointed as we had to cancel the tour. We had emailed you 3 days before and you received your refund in full within a week as per the terms you booked with through Viator. We did issue a refund but it takes a few days for viator to refund it after which is outside our control. Kind regards, Daragh

Our guide Brennan was wonderful! We didn’t realize it was a drinking and eating tour. We were not expecting the booze and would. It have booked as my husband does not drink at all and me only marginally. But our young guide made up for it!!

Great introduction to Dingle!

We took the tasting tour with Jitka the day we arrived in Dingle. She gave us a superb introduction to the town which helped us get oriented and make the most of our stay. Jitka made multiple recommendations for restaurants and pubs and we tried most of them. She also gave us some very interesting history about the town, as well as the pubs and restaurants.

We did our tour immediately upon arrival into Dingle for our first time. We had a great tour guide- very knowledgeable and friendly. She took us to some amazing places. Bring your appetite. The fish we sampled was the freshest I think we've ever eaten.
