What To Expect

Your tour begins with pickup from the designated meeting point on 244 Rolando Street in the morning, when you’ll board a heated vehicle destined for the snow center at Cerro Catedral, a 2,388-meter (7,800-foot) high peak smothered in snow.

Following a roughly 45-minute drive past the Nahuel Huapi Lake, you’ll arrive at the base of Cerro Catedral and get kitted out in snow-proof gear. After greeting your instructor, you’ll receive an overview of your chosen activity and spend the rest of the morning mastering basic techniques.

Make your first exhilarating trips down the slopes before revitalizing with a well-earned lunch (own expense). Then, you’ll have a few hours free time to enjoy the facilities at the base of Cerro Catedral.

Browse shops for souvenirs or taste chocolate in an artisan chocolatier before reconvening with your guide and returning to your original Bariloche departure point.

We went to the Meeting Point. Nobody was there for us. There was also a cople of brazilians waiting for the same service. Nobody answered in te Whatrsapp phone. After two ours of waisting our time, we recieved a new Meeting Point from the operator. We had to may taxis and lost the "Bautizo de Ski" that was exactly the experience they offer through Viator.
