The island of Burano is...
The island of Burano is beautiful and definitely worth visiting. Also enjoyed the glass making demo on Murano and the gallery tour. Boat transfers were clean and prompt. Our guide Rachel mainly provided escort to/from the various host locations with the destination personnel providing most of the information about each stop. Overall a wonderful day.

Easy way to visit Murano and Burano!
We weren't expecting an in depth guided tour just an easier way to visit Murano and Burano without using the public transport and that is exactly what we got. We had 90 minutes on each island which was enough time for us to see what we wanted and everything ran smoothly. Great way to see the islands without the stress!

Good for 1st timers
Murano glassblowing demo is interesting if never saw glassblowing before. Whispers used to hear guides description of islands and activities only worked sometimes. Not always able to understand guide's English.
Murano island only a place to see glassblowing and shops with glass souvenirs. Burano is beautiful, charming and a lot more to do.

Fab tour
Brilliant tour Elizabeth was great, large group so it started 30 mins before our scheduled time but easy to find, enough time in Murano and Burano would recomend when short on time and can use Viator with cashback sites so good value

Excellent guide, provided...
Excellent guide, provided Google, interesting information, and had nice sense of humor. Glass demo was excellent, really enjoyed. Burano was charming, liked the lace demo, and just right amount of free time

This was a nice trip away...
This was a nice trip away from the crowded island of Venice. The tour of the Murano factory was very interesting. We enjoyed watching the master turn sand into a beautiful glass vase.
Burano was not as interesting and I was disappointed because of a short explanation of how the lace was made.
The boat ride back and forth was good.
Alana was a great guide. She explained everything in detail to us. She was very personable.

More than Venice !
So worth your time to experience the art of glass making! You can sit and watch glass makers at work and then visit the showroom with numerous piece of art.
Then travel to the island of Burano and experience the peaceful life of an islander. Along the tour we learned about the history of the island and had time for a wonderful lunch.
Our tour guide Tomaz was fantastic and would highly recommend this tour!

This tour was fantastic....
This tour was fantastic. I booked it at the last minute, and I'm glad I did. Elly is an awesome guide. Her local knowledge and experience made the tour interesting and very enjoyable. Murano and Burano are must sees while you're in Venice. The boat trip to the islands was great too. Super relaxing.

Murano/Burano
This was a very nice relaxing tour with time to shop. Our guide was Federica and while on the boat ride she filled us in on the history of the islands. We saw a gentleman make a glass vase and horse at the glass shop. Amazing and beautiful. We had an hour to shop/walk around. From there to Burano, the lace island. Sad to say a dying art. We also had an hour there and we chose to have lunch but there is plenty of shopping that can be done. Federica was a great tour guide.

When to visit

A boat trip to Burano is a must for photography buffs, who will love capturing the vibrant colors.
Venice island tours require getting on and off a boat, so confirm wheelchair and stroller accessibility ahead of time.
Burano lace, like Murano glass, is made entirely by hand and is very expensive. Don't be fooled by cheap industrial knock-offs sold at many souvenir shops.
The island's main street is lined with souvenir shops, cafés, and restaurants.
