Top Split Walking Tours

This was a very relaxing yet adventurous day for our family group of 6. I would highly recommend it to those looking for a laid back and comfortable boating experience. Based on other reviews, we did arrive early (about 1 hour 15 minutes), and were first in line. This allowed us to secure lounge chairs on the top deck. The other decks had normal chairs/tables, but there was plenty of space to walk about the entire ship. You also have to check in and get a wrist band at a different booth before you line up, so it's good to arrive early. The boat was very nice with restrooms, swim showers, and deck to jump into the water at the Blue Lagoon. Also, the lunch was simple yet very nice - you could choose between chicken and a whole fish, with coleslaw and bread. They even had gluten-free bread for me. The staff were very nice as well. The stops were great. The Borkko Beach was not too busy (although we went mid-September), and the Blue Lagoon was very fun as we got to swim around for about an hour. Solta was great to walk around but shops were mostly closed as it was Sunday. Overall, I highly recommend.

Great Split food tour! We tasted burek, Dalmatian sweets, olive oil, wine, pork belly and cevapi, bruschetta with anchovies among others and it was all amazing. We actually returned to a couple of places to try more dishes. Our guide Lorena was fantastic. She was so kind to accommodate a gluten sensitivity with alternate options and making sure the restaurants used gluten free bread. We had fun and were stuffed by the end of the tour.

Toni was extremely knowledgeable and encouraged lots of questions to make sure the tour included information on what folks were interested in. There’s so much amazing history in Split and the tour helped us appreciate everything we were seeing and the multi-cultural influences of the language and food.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Daniela as our tour guide in Split! She was warm, knowledgeable, engaging, and made the history and culture of the city come alive. Daniela was incredibly personable and shared so many fascinating stories and details that we would have never discovered on our own. Her passion for Split really came through, and she made the entire experience both fun and memorable. We highly recommend Daniela to anyone visiting Split! She was fantastic and truly made our time in this beautiful city even more special.

We had a fun time with Josko. He was informative and entertaining at the same time. He explained the history of Split and the history of the Palace very well. Highly recommended. I felt we got more out of the tour being a private with just our family.

This is a very personal and informative tour by a scholar and professor, who knows more about the Diocletian Palace of Split than probably anyone in the universe. Professor Vedran Mastosic is amazing, fun and approachable as he led us through this amazing city in the walls at this ancient palace and Fortress. He actually also has a book for sale at the end which I highly recommend. If you can also visit the ruins of solana afterwards. Five stars.

Our guide Paula was very knowledgeable and well versed in Split history. She made the tour very interesting. As our group was fairly large and there were many other tour groups around, at times it became difficult to hear Paula. Other groups had assisted hearing devices which perhaps would allow everyone to hear better. Still, the tour was very informative!

This tour was amazing a lot of free time and we loved that we had the ability to slow down and do things at our pace without having to stick to an overly specific schedule. Saw the most beautiful waterfall and swam in a gorgeous river/ beach is skradin. Sanja was our guide and absolutely amazing gave a great history and background of everything and clear instructions. Super sweet!
