This was a fun half day...
This was a fun half day activity for our adult group, but would work for families as well. First phase is a short walk to a river to walk/float in the provided life jackets through caves, canyons to lagoons. Be sure to bring your waterproof cameras as there are lots of great photo opportunities.
Next it's a sort walk to beautiful blue lagoon, then on to a maze and finally the lazy river float that gets you wet from several different waterfalls.
Finally finished up with and included Dominican lunch of chicken, rice, tomatoes, cucumbers and plantains. Beverages were not included.
Overall it was well run from pickup & return at hotel to making your way from one activity to another. Be sure to bring your water shoes

Good communication
Communication was great with Felipe! Our flight was delayed so it impacted our original arrival time. There was also a lot of traffic once we landed, but he kept us advised of his arrival to PUJ. He was very personable during the transport to our hotel.

Great service, immediate...
Great service, immediate communication, and very coear instructions on where to meet and how to come out of the terminal after immigration. The car and the driver was very nice. They helped with the the luggage (loading and unloading) and while driving spoke to us about the local culture and places to visit. Highly recommend the company!

Great Experience
My wife and I went on this catamaran and had a great time! The crew was very friendly and fun. We got to snorkel and cruise around, and spent a good amount of time in the water at the natural pool. We purchased the photos from Franciso, which turned out great. Would recommend.

For adventurous cruisers!
This was a great experience! The guide was fluent in multiple languages. You will get dirty! Bring a bandana and sunglasses to keep dirt out of your eyes and mouth. They do sell these if you forget. Bring a wet bag to keep your things dry. Once again you will get dirty and wet! The sugar cane demonstrations were so neat. The snacks were delicious! We were able to utilize their $30 pickup and drop off and had 40 minutes to spare when we got back to our cruise ship. Make sure to let the head guide know and he will make sure you meet that time. I would recommend this for those that love adventure!

A holiday highlight
This catamaran trip was a highlight of our holiday, it was worth every penny. A small group of around 30 (adults and children) took to the sea on a relaxed journey to Saona that took around 90 minutes. It was peaceful and there was plenty of room to sit and enjoy the views. We spent around 2 hours on Saona Island which was breath taking. Upon our return to the boat, we had a delicious lunch followed by snorkelling in a natural pool where we saw lots of huge star fish and even a turtle! A wonderful experience, thank you!

Great half day tour!...
Great half day tour! Picked up directly at our resort, learned about coffee and cocoa and then off to see the monkeys. Johnny Tequila was amazing! He was funny and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed his sense of humour. The surprise for us was the lunch we got to have at the end of our tour. Fried chicken was delicious. Already gave Runners Adventures details to our friends who are coming in a couple of weeks

Historical Dominican Tour
If you want to get away from the beaches, for a day, and learn some Dominican history, this is the tour for you, but be warned there is lots of walking
Excellent guide who spoke fluent Spanish and English but even accommodated the French (canadians) on board. Commentary started immediately following hotel pickup on the drive to santa domingo. He explained itinerary, timings and intentions but unfortunately for him, the traffic meant he had to react accordingly, which he did admirably.
Visits included cathedral, 4d cinema to learn about Francis Drake invasion and takeover from the Spanish, indigenous Dominicans (Talons), war memorial, mahogany trees, unescu monument, Christopher Columbus House, tourist shopping mall, drive-by of presidential palace and much more.
Highlight of the tour was a typical Dominican lunch with Domincan dancers...AMAZING
All in all a very interesting and worthwhile tour, but be mindful traffic can be bad but the guide and driver ensured as minimal impact as they could

Reliable service
I booked a round trip through Viator (my first time). My husband and I was supposed to be picked from PUJ to HM Alma de Bayahibe and back to PUJ on our departure date. I was send an initial ticket for the arrival and told that someone would be at the airport with our name. I got no other contact and me being a worrywart, I called and I confirmed with them on the day of arrival. They were helpful and as promised someone was there at the airport on time to pick us up.
For our departure, I reached out to them on the day before and based on my flight details they gave me the time the driver would arrive and he was on the dot at the resort to pick us up.
Overall this was great experience. The drivers were nice and speaking Spanish helps but if not they were very reliable.

Beautiful Day on the Ocean with Quetzal Excursions
We drove from Punta Cana and arrived at Quetzal in Bayahibe around 8:30 am. After checking in, our guide walked us down to the dock and we took a shuttle boat to the Catamaran. It was a beautiful and peaceful trip out to our first stop at Isla Catalina. The ocean conditions were challenging with strong winds and currents so we only snorkeled about 10 minutes there. We then left for Samoa where the waters were much more calm. We snorkeled about 30-40 minutes, but there was more time if people wanted to continue snorkeling or go ashore. We stayed onboard after snorkeling and talked with guide Charlotte. She was a delightful young lady from France. They then cooked us a great lunch of chicken, steak, pasta, salad, and fresh fruit. There was also an open bar. After leaving Saona, we cruised up Rio Chavon and one of the crew explained the history of the area, including famous movies filmed there like Apocalypse Now. All and all, it was a great time and the entire crew was wonderful.

Fun time with family and friends- loved the slide especially!
There was a change to the leave time which we were notified about in the morning of the event - it worked out well giving our group time to relax. The crew also asked at that point if we were celebrating anything which we were (and engagement) so the crew said they would bring champagne. When we arrived the champagne was not there so they went back to shore to retrieve along with a photographer who took pictures of the afternoon which we loved having. The water was too rough to enjoy the snorkeling but we especially enjoyed the slide and the sand bar areas.

Transfer from La Romana Resort to Punta Cana Airport
I used Viator for this booking, well in advance, I paid in full about a week before we needed the service and was happy. My communication with the Tour personal was a bit sketchy through the Viator Chat app. I wasn't getting a response from the Tour company but when I decided to use the Viator Chat App to talk directly to a Viator Rep. I wasn't disapointed and they ensured me everything was fine. Our ride was not a minute late to arrive at the designated time, Perfect.
I don't have any complaints about Viator or the Tour company we used , it was pretty seamless. Viator is the only service I use when booking tours on our travels.
