An Evening With Haly Hotboy...lol
Haly Hotboy was an amazing chef, personality and your guide. He was very patient with me as I learned new cooking skills. I can't wait to try the recipes at home.
The bamboo boat ride was relaxing and fun. The spinning and spinners were really cool. I look forward to having this experience again.

An absolute highlight!
If you are looking for an unforgettable evening in Hoi An, book this tour immediately. We visited four distinct stops, and every single one delivered top-notch, exceptionally creative cocktails that went far beyond the standard menu fare.
What truly elevated the entire night was our guide, Tim. Beyond knowing the craft and stories behind every spot we visited, he was fantastic company—incredibly knowledgeable, easygoing, and just genuinely fun to talk to. Our conversations flowed effortlessly from local history and current events to universal philosophy between drinks. It felt less like a scripted excursion and more like exploring hidden gems with a great friend.
An excellent tour from start to finish. Highly recommended!

So much fun 😆📸
My husband & I did the photoshoot together, & it was so much fun! It was a super super hot day, but our photographer made it really special! The pictures turned out great, and he took us throughout the beautiful old town of Hoi An. It wasn’t a guided tour, but we felt like we were able to be on a tour in a way.
We rented outfits beforehand and then went to our meeting point. Our photographer didn’t speak English, but that made it fun & we were still able to get our pictures done and they turned out great! He gave us bottled water and also went to a popular beverage spot and gave us a drink - so refreshing!
It was a great price and we got our money’s worth 🙌🏽!

Yum!
Cute authentic location in Hoi An fringes, good chef very entertaining and interactive, food was fun to make and delicious to eat. Pick up from centre Hoi A went well, all well organised. My only complaint, is that the Viator website said 4:30 pick up in most places, the small print mentioned 4:15 pick up, and the lady that got in touch to arrange details with us tried to make us accept a pick up at 4:10. Given we had plans before to fit in, this cause quite some stress. Please line up your timings Viator!!

Super fun and engaging coffee making class!
Such a fun experience and one of our favorite activities in Hoi An! You get to make and try 5 different types of Vietnamese coffee, and we had a great time throughout the whole class - lots of fun music and great vibes in the room.
Our instructors, including “Justin Bieber” and “Bruno Mars,” were awesome and brought the perfect energy. They kept things fun while also teaching us about the history of Vietnamese coffee and the ethical practices behind the business.
The team was also super accommodating to our dietary restrictions (my wife is gluten-free and vegetarian, and I am allergic to cashews and pistachios) and also ensured that non-dairy options were available as we created the different coffees. The facility was very clean and hygienic, with staff constantly bringing us new materials and ingredients for each recipe.
It’s a wonderful family-run business and was the perfect activity while we waited to pick up our clothes from the Cloth Market. Would absolutely recommend adding this to your Hoi An itinerary!

Must do when in Hoi An!
One of the (of probably the) most amazing experience we have had in Vietnam! From the early morning market to the boat trip to grandma’s kitchen on the river Island, everything was amazing. Thuum (Thom) and het family are fabulous hosts! Friendly, knowledgeable and of course great cooks (and instructors). We have learned a lot, had great fun doing karaoke on the boat and the meal was so tasty! Would definitely book again if I had the chance!

Truly a Gem of an experience! Ask for Ms. Kim!
I recently went on a solo trip to Hoi An and was so glad I did this walking food tour. It was worth waking up early to learn about the people and their lives. It was such an eye opening experience to see how hard the folks work and how fresh all the food is. I was the only person signed up, so it ended up being a private tour which was awesome.
We started with a much needed cup of strong Vietnamese coffee at a local home - something I've seen from the streets, but would never have the knowledge to go in and order. We tasted freshly sprouted bean sprouts, saw the production of fresh Cao Lau noodles, walked the local market and sampled fresh fruit, food stalls, banh Mi sandwiches, soup noodles, dessert and more coffee. It was truly a large sampling of different local foods. I loved sitting in the market and eating with the locals.
It was all made possible by my wonderful guide, Ms. Kim. She was the ultimate Gem - she knew all the people, knew how to tell stories, knew how to navigate. I cannot say enough how safe and special it felt to walk around with someone who was so familiar with the city and the people. At one point, we walked into a home where the host wasn't there and picked a few banana wrapped desserts to eat because she knew. I would highly recommend this tour if you have time. Plan it early in your trip...it's a great way to see the real lives of locals. It was well worth the early morning wake up call and if you can, please ask for Ms. Kim. She had the cutest proper British accent from spending some time abroad. Most importantly, you can feel how much she enjoy sharing her city with guests from afar.

Beautiful ancient city Hoi an
This tour was amazing 😻 specially the tour guide name Dan !!! She was awesome with us, very engaging and knowledgeable about everything related to the tour. Blue mountains are beautiful but Hoi an definitely my favorite one. That ancient city is like to be in a set of an Asian movie, very colorful. It’s feels like you want have a photo in every corner , chanel or the shops. At night they turn on the lights around and jumping into the canoe on the river with your own candle wuaooo it’s magical. I recommend this tour for the professionalism and the beauty involved. One more time Dan the tour guide she is adorable.
Thanks

Amazing experience. Highly recommended!
YES CHEF! Tram was an amazing person to do this tour with, very lovely experience. I would highly recommend this tour, she is very enthusiastic, knowledgeable about the Vietnamese foods that we made and has many years of experience! Every dime spent on this tour is worth your time!!! Our day started off at the local markets where we picked out ingredients for the dishes we were going to cook down later the day, she told us the purpose and intention behind each ingredient, it was a very thrilling and educational experience. Next, we took a car ride and then visited her place & did the coconut boat ride. The ride was very fun, with friendly boat staff that took us around the river. We then went back, took a break and started our cooking class! The cooking class was very fun, engaging & Tram was very fun to communicate and talk with! At the end, we had the food we ate, along with some cheap paid drinks (beer/soft drinks). Overall a great experience, and would definitely come back to do something like this next time I am back in Vietnam.

Great experience to learn about Vietnamese cuisine. Vegetarian friendly.
Fantastic experience from start to end. Our chef teacher explained us the different methods and taught us how to prepare various types of traditional Vietnamese food. Would highly recommend. The market visit was also informative because we learner how various herbs are harvested and prepared. They also adjusted our menu to cater for vegetarian diet.

Unforgettable experience!!
Absolutely amazing experience! One of my favorite things I’ve done in Hoi An. The family who runs the business and teaches you are so kind and knowledgeable. They made us laugh the whole time and their expertise shows in every detail. Cannot recommend enough!!

Good morning tour
Very interesting day out on the morning half day tour to My Son. Our guide Dung was very friendly, informative and took care of our group. The included lunch was simple but nice. My son sanctuary area gets very hot so make sure you prepare. We had fans with us that we were grateful for. We found the half day option enough as we are not super passionate about ruins.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Hailed as one of the country’s culinary capitals, Hoi An is the ideal place to master the basics of Central Vietnam’s distinctive cuisine, which fuses Southeast Asian and French styles. Sure, you could just feast on bahn mi and cao lau—but cooking classes in Hoi An teach you traditional Vietnamese cooking techniques and offer more insight into the local culinary culture than you’d get from dining at a restaurant alone. These classes often include a visit to a local market, a tour of a farm, and even a ride in a basket boat, for the ultimate epicurean experience.
