Chef's Kiss for Massi

Making pasta in Italy: this is a fantastic way to spend an evening or afternoon in Catania! Massimilliano led us in crafting a variety of pastas. He was the perfect host, having everything ready when we arrived, including aprons and refreshing beverages. We mixed up two types of pasta dough, and learned all the tips and tricks for making them into delicious meals. Massi gave us a lot of background information on ingredients and equipment, and inspired us to begin making homemade pasta in our own home. He even shared his recipes with us! What was extra special about this experience, is that we had the honor of spending time in a Sicilian home with a Sicilian family. That gave us insight and the personal touch that other tours don't offer. By the end of our evening, we gained not only valuable cooking skills, but also some new friends.

The best trip you can take on the East Coast

A wonderfully friendly atmosphere from the very beginning. Our guide, Allesio, introduced us during the tour and listened with interest to our story. Alessio is incredibly knowledgeable and was full of interesting facts about the production of The Godfather. We managed to tour the estate (unfortunately, this isn't always possible), where we were greeted by the lovely owner. The estate itself was a fascinating attraction, from Sicily related items, to various materials from the filming period, to the opportunity to take photos on the balcony. In Savoca, thanks to the guide's contacts, we were able to get into the movie bar without staying in line. In Forza d'Agrò, a place was already reserved for us, where we could enjoy a delicious dinner in a delightful Sicilian atmosphere. From the beginning to the end of the tour (even while saying goodbye), we could feel the experience and positive emotions radiating from Allesio. If you're interested in a Godfather - themed tour, this is the best option for you.

This was an excellent tour. From start to finish our tour guide Fabio was professional, funny, friendly, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. He did a fantastic job of including people from different countries in the conversation and leaving time for questions. We learned so much about Mount Etna and the surrounding area and little towns. The pace and stops were perfect. 100% my family and I would recommend this tour!

Wonderfully fun family time!

Simply a wonderful cooking class for entire family! We had such a great time!! They answered all our questions as we went and educated us on different ingredients, what to look for, and substitutions. We received all the recipes when it was over —- can’t wait to try at home!
