Must do excursion
Absolutely amazing! The guides were great, the area and the waterfalls were amazing. We got to see so much of the jungle this way. We got to swim in/around 3 waterfalls and it was just such a great day! And the lunch they cooked us was the best food we had on our entire trip in Belize! I highly recommend you booking with them!

Don’t hesitate - book this now!
This excursion is a must do if you are in or around San Ignacio. It is an amazing, unique experience. After arriving at the offices, you are driven to a spot near the cave. Your group then hikes 45 minutes to the entrance to the cave, explore the cave for about 2.5 hours, hike back and enjoy a picnic lunch. The spelunking in the cave is challenging, but worth it. There are times when you are in water, squeezing through tight spaces or sliding. As another reviewer mentioned, you will take off your shoes for a bit of time - wear thick socks for this part - this is to preserve the ground in the archeological site as much as possible. The Mayan artifacts and remains that you see are amazing to witness. Not having your cell phone with you allows for you to truly be present in the experience and soak in all of the history. Don’t hesitate - book this now!

Easy Pickup and Drop Off
Were waiting for us upon arrival. No issues. Good communication from the company and the driver. Very friendly driver. Took us straight from the airport to the water taxi. Even ran us through what to do and where to go when we got there. Huge help! Thank you.

Great excursion
Our family (13 to 65 years old) really enjoyed the excursion. It took a little over an hour to get to Altun Ha. . There were road works so it was slow going, but it was great to see the scenery on the way. Altun Ha was really interesting and Jose gave us a little tour with insights into the ruins and Mayan culture. Because of a knee injury we rented a collapsible wheelchair from the cruise ship. Altun Ha was really accessible (if someone is willing to push) because it’s compact and flat. The younger and more able were able to climb up the ruins which was exciting for them. On the way back to Belize City, we stopped at a traditional restaurant and had a great meal of chicken rice and beans. Jose also stopped by the road to buy some bananas to let us try. On the way back to the port, we drove through the city centre and Jose pointed out the interesting colonial buildings. All in all a great half day out.
