Conquering ilamatepec Volcano: A Hiker's Paradise

The 6:30 AM pickup was right on time, getting us there by 8:30 AM. A heads-up: a $4/person tour guide fee is collected upon arrival, which was unexpected as the activity advertises 'full guidance.' The park entrance fee is $3. Despite this, the hike itself was fantastic! Reaching the top in 90 minutes through diverse terrain like jungle, forest, and lava rocks was well worth it. Don't miss the ice cream at the top of the crater, perfect after the climb!

A stress-free way to see the volcano. I actually tried to see the volcano the week before, but the guides were all taken when I had arrived. This tour will ensure tings go smoothly, and the transportation was wonderful (private transportation in a new, very comfortable pick-up truck). Driver was very friendly and well-organized (showed up on time and sent me his live location on Whatsapp as he drove to get us! Smart).
