Overview

Skydiving in a national park setting can be difficult to organize on your own, but this tandem experience makes it simple. All the logistics are handled for you, from the flight to the jump, so you can focus on the thrill and the views. After boarding your aircraft, take in sweeping scenery over Abel Tasman National Park’s peaks and coastline before leaping from the plane for an adrenaline-filled freefall of up to 80 seconds. Your instructor then deploys the parachute, allowing you to float gently back to the ground.

All persons weighing 100kg or over subject to a small surcharge, which varies based on weight. The minimum weight requirement is 35kg, and all passengers must be large enough to fit safely into the harness. The ability for a child to jump is determined by their, weight, size and how the harness fits. The minimum weight is 35kg and . All passengers must fit securely into the harness. All children are subject to an assessment on the day by the Tandem Master.

This was such a great experience. All staff were friendly and professional, helpful and nice! Really enjoyed the jump!!!!😍 We were informed when we would be jumping and whether we were next in line, which was great. Our jump masters were professional yet friendly and informative. Always felt totally safe and looked after!!!

Great to do .. but strongly recommend the provision of face protection .. particularly for older clients

The care & attention the staff/instructors gave me before & after my flight @ Skydive Abel Tasman Motueka NZ The parachuting was a marvellous experience , but the free fall wasn’t so pleasant as I probably needed a helmet to protect from the cold … very painful!

A wonderful experience!! We always wanted to do a skydive and this was definitely the right company to do it with. They were thoroughly professional and made the experience really safe. The location is outstanding with Abel Tasman and Mount Arthur on show. It was a great deal too!
