If you are looking for a professional, passionate, and deeply knowledgeable guide who will show you the 'real' Lecce, I cannot recommend Giuseppe enough. He was punctual, easy to communicate with, and spoke excellent English. He tailored the tour to our specific interests. From the moment we met, Giuseppe made us feel like old friends. Considering the weather during our 3 hour tour was the absolute worst (rained hard & nearly the entire time), our private guide Guiseppe C. made our experience absolutely wonderful. He is very articulate and clearly knowledgeable about the history of the culture and region. He is also very personable & made our time with him relaxing, taking us to the different stops @ a more than reasonable pace. We would recommend Guiseppe to everyone and anyone who wants to truly learn about Lecce, not just “see” it. He was worth every minute, & Euro, spent on our tour

I booked about 24 hours in advance of the activity. Received confirmation emails by both Viator and the Operator. Payment was taken from my card. A few hours later and less than 18 hours before the activity the Operator called my phone to cancell because of no tour guide availabilty at the time I had booked. I explained to the "gentleman" on the phone that we had a window of only four hours to view Lecce before driving to our next destination. He said there was nothing he could do and promised to request Viator to refund us. I suggest next time he ensures tour guides are available before advertising free activity slots on Viator, collecting the money of unsuspecting travellers and inconvincing them with his inexcusable cancelations. Hpefully the money he took from my card will be returned. Irrespective be aware UNRELIABLE Operator DO NOT USE.
