Meeting Instructions: We are located at Heart Six Ranch, 16985 Buffalo Valley Road in Moran, Wyoming, within Jackson Hole and near Grand Teton National Park. Simply enter our location into maps. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your ride for check-in and waiver completion.

- Most travelers can participate
- Children must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age 8 years old and at least 48 inches tall for safety
- Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled ride time.
- Maximum weight is 240 lbs and there are no refunds.
- We reserve the right to weigh a participant as we do not want to injure or kill a horse
- Dinner rides and large parties require a mandatory gratuity of 20 percent charged at check in.
- Riders should anticipate tipping their guide 20 percent (but you may tip more)
- Closed toed and closed heel shoes are required
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- If you have special dietary needs please bring your own food items to fulfill these requirements.
- Maximum weight limit is 240 lbs and there are no refunds.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers

Riding a horse through the Tetons is a magical experience. My sisters, husband, and I had a blast at Heart Six. The staff was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. The tour itself was gorgeous, and especially fun because of the variety of terrain. The horses each had their own personality but were all very friendly. My family and I would definitely recommend horseback riding at Heart Six.

We had a great ride and the cowboy dinner was fun. The wranglers that helped with the ride were knowledgeable and helped us feel more confident since we had little to no experience riding.
Easy going, laid back staff. Horses were typical trail riding horses who follow each other regardless. However, after some persuasion, my horse did follow my direction and we would go on an adjoining path when directed. But then the other horses would follow. Definitely would Come back
This was my first time riding a horse ever, and it was so much fun! The wranglers, especially Rebecca, were so helpful and encouraging. They made the experience even more fun and the 90 minute ride went by way too fast. I couldn’t recommend this ranch enough!
13 or so in our group, 2 guides. Beautiful views and a nice slow ride. Steak dinner afterwards was very good

The 90 minute trail ride was excellent and long enough for two adults who only ride once on a while.
The scenery is gorgeous, the horses well cared for. And the guides are professional and knowledgeable about the area.
Bonus was that about an hour into the ride the guides have the group stop and take your pictures (with your own phones.)

I would best describe this as “a little underwhelming”. It was exactly as I expected, Riding an horse very slow on a trail in a line of mostly people who have never ridden an horse. Overall everything was fine. The views were amazing but nothing you can’t get from a car. The guides seemed knowledgeable and attentive although not overly enthusiastic about their jobs. If you’ve never been on a horse this may be for you. If you want a great photo opportunity this is a great choice.
Booked a horse ride with 3 adults and a 9 year old. Everything was perfect. The ride was my child’s favorite part of the entire trip. The guide was great and the horses were perfect for those without horse experience. Would highly recommend.
My son, Ryan and I had fantastic rides on Mobley and Gary!! Our wrangler was Rebecca and she was so much fun! Met news friends on the trail!! Would highly reccommend!!

This was a perfect side trip during our vacation in Yellowstone. The guide and all the support staff were friendly and helpful. Not being real used to riding horses, the 90-minute tour was perfect - no saddle sores. The views and vistas were so beautiful!

Had a great ride thru the hillside. Horses were great as well as the staff. My only regret is the picture on the website showed them riding thru a stream and also an open field . We were on a trail only up and down the hill side. Still had a great time!

Our guide for the horseback ride was Cory. He was a very hard working guy and a fantastic guide. I would highly recommend this ride.
The horses were well taken care of the the ranch was clean. Our tour guide was great and the ride was wonderful. I would have gone riding for another hour. I highly recommend them.
I booked a 3 hr trail ride in September 2026. We drove an hour to reach the meeting location and on arrival I was asked for a credit card for a 20% mandatory gratuity. The Viator description of this activity states that a 20% gratuity will be added for “large parties and dinner rides”. We were two people and did not book a dinner ride. Nevertheless they insisted on charging an additional $92.40.
Our guide Chelsea informed us that we would be stopping over the 3 hrs for “potty breaks”. Half way into the ride we paused and took photos. My partner asked where she could avail herself of a potty break. Chelsea said she couldn’t do that due to risk of bears. We saw no bears the prior 90 minutes and she had no choice but to ride back 90 minutes in discomfort. Had Chelsea informed that no bathroom breaks were possible my partner could have managed her water intake differently.
I gave this experience only 2 stars based on misrepresentations about the 20% up charge and the potty break issue.
Our guided horseback ride at Heart Six Ranch was one of the highlights of our trip to Jackson! Ari, our guide, was wonderful! She made the experience even better with her upbeat personality! We were all well-prepared to handle our horses and the views were amazing! We would highly recommend this experience!
Although we got off a little late, the staff were excellent. The ride was spectacular, and the horses were all very well behaved. You don’t need to have riding experience because these horses know exactly what to do. It was a very fun time.
We did the 3 hour ride, the horses were great! Our wrangler Corey was knowledgeable and informative.
The best part was the scenery, we rode through the forest to the top of the mountain then down along the river bed! Highly recommend and would do it again anytime!
The trail guide was very outgoing and had a great personality! We really enjoyed this ride. The dinner afterwards was pretty darn good too!
We had an amazing time! All the horses paired well with their riders. It was my 12 year old son’s first time riding a horse and he felt comfortable and his horse was exceptionally great! Corey was our wrangler and I would definitely recommend going with him. He was patient and informative! Scenery was beautiful! Well worth every cent! Highly recommend.
The tour was an excellent experience for the family. So many beautiful sights. Rebecca did an awesome job explaining the area and entertaining the group with trivia of the area. Totally recommend this tour.
Jeremiah, our guide, was wonderful! A real Cowboy and a real gentleman! The horses were beautiful and well behaved. The ride was leisurely and incredibly scenic. The Grand Tetons stood tall in the distance and the skies were the bluest blue. I highly recommend this ride with Heart Six Ranch!
