Brilliant cooking class, made 6 courses of delicious food. Vegan and vegetarian friendly, and able to make as spicy or mild as you like. Our instructor, Cream, was very kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and would book again.

The teaching ability at the kitchen was excellent. The guides spoke excellent English. With so many guides helping, it was impossible to make a mistake. Everything was also clean, efficient, and informative. We were able to eat and rest in an air conditioned room in between preparation. They even had a cute dog to play with named Krapow.
It was my family's favorite experience in Chiang Mai, and I highly recommend booking.

This was really cool! The market tour was really interesting and the garden tour was very interactive. The dishes we made were so good and I'm excited to try to make them at home if I can!

It was incredible. The staff were so caring from the pick up point. We had so much fun learning how to cook different dishes and they were very accommodating of dietary requirements. We loved every minute

This was a very well organized class. Food options available for many tastes including vegan and gluten free. The main instructor was able to communicate the various directions as not everyone was making the same dish and she had many helpers. The market tour was also very interesting. The nearly hour ride from old center city Chiang mai was in one of the converted pickup trucks. If you get motion sickness riding sideways bring some Dramamine.

This was a great family activity- it was very well organized and they had enough staff on to give everyone individual attention. This provider offered more dishes than some of the others (we each got to choose six plus a curry).

Good cooking class lots of choice of what to cook. Staff were helpful , it was a little regimented but well organised . Didn’t get told they couldn’t pick us up from our hotel until a few days before even though I put our hotel in the booking months ago.

Great cooking class! I liked that we could pick the menu items we wanted to eat. This was actually the second cooking class I did in Thailand but liked it since I could try making other dishes. I liked the hotel pick up too which was a nice bonus.

Had great fun. Got picked up from hotel and was a little intimidated with the numbers at first but didn't need to be. Got taken to a food market and explained different fruits,foods etc before all then driving to the cooking school. It brilliant. So well organised,from being shown round the garden and to full instructions on what we were doing with 1 2 1 help. Suggest slip ons because you take off your shoes when you go to sit down( on the floor cushions) in separate room. The flavours,ingredients and help was fantastic. The lady who runs the school is great. Sounds like some schoolmaster and we all jumped but she is warm and passionate and hugged us all when we left. 100% DO THIS.

A really fun activity. Picked up from the hotel, really well organised. Received a WhatsApp message directly after paying on Viator, to organise the location and time. Then on to the clean market where our guide showed us Thai fruit and veg’. Had a short time to buy some unusual fruits not available in UK. Then off to the school. All the cookery tutors spoke good English. Cooked a five course meal and ate it afterwards. Delicious! A look around their organic herb garden with explanations of what was growing. Definitely give this unique experience a go! Take a break from the temples for a day! Highly recommend.

We visited a fresh food market and were shown some of the ingredients commonly used in Thai food. We were also shown some of the fruits currently available. Then we traveled to the cooking site. We were given a tour of the spice and fruit gardens.
We were brought to a dining room to cool off and hydrate before we started our cooking class. Once everyone had the opportunity to use the bathroom and drink some water they brought us to the cooking area.
They were very organized and had the ingredients set up for each participant. We were provided an apron to wear and we each had our own set of cutlery and prep tools. They taught us how to prepare our foods efficiently. They started with group instructions and then helped individuals as needed.
There were 30 people in our class and we moved through each dish at the same time switching between the ingredients prep stations and the cooking stations.
We made a 5-course meal featuring curry, rice and noodles. There was more food than could be eaten in one sitting!
The staff took photos of the groups and made sure everyone was comfortable. They also shared a digital cookbook with us that provided the recipes for all of the dishes we made and more.
It was worth every penny!

Pickup was prompt. The people were polite and efficient. The food was delicious! It was mostly prepped beforehand with a little assistance from us. But we did the cooking with good supervision. The market visit was interesting as the different fruits and other food stuffs were explained.

Siam Garden Cooking School is the best cooking school in Chaing Mai! When I decided to visit Thailand, a friend told me that I should take a cooking class while I was there. I had time in Chaing Mai. Siam Garden had great reviews.
Gift picked me up at my hotel in a very nice car. We then picked up three more participants at their hotels. Gift took us to a local market where she told us about many fruits, and different rice. We then drove to their house, garden, and cooking school on the outside of Chaing Mai. The school had contacted me upon booking to choose several dishes to prepare. They asked me about dietary restrictions and food allergies.
Gift and Cream showed us around their garden, and taught us how to prepare many dishes including spring rolls, tom yum, pad Thai, Khao soi, and fried bananas. This was one of my favorite experiences in Thailand! The staff were all sweet. The food was great. I made new friends. Thank you Siam Garden Cooking School for a lovely day

This was better than expected. We were picked up from our hotel and taken in a small group to a market where we explored and got to purchase some fruits to take home. Then we were taken to the cooking school, which is like a large house outside of the city that includes a small farm. We explored and learned about local herbs and spices and we cooked a five course meal. Everything was delicious. I can’t wait to re-create these recipes when I get home thanks in-part to the free cookbook they give you after the tour.
