It was awesome. Your guide was super friendly and informative. The caves were an amazing experience and so was the tubing and learning about the ruins as well. 10/10!

My wife and I booked this tour for the day our cruise was petted in Belize City. It was a shorter than average day for us in Belize City due to the need to tender to/from the ship. So we got off the ship early where we met Paul. Our tour guide for the day. After loading into his very comfortable minivan we were on our way to Altun Ha. Along the way I explained to Paul that the last tender to the ship was 3:15 PM. So with this in mind Paul made sure we had time to enjoy the ruined Mayan city of Altun Ha, underground cave tubing (a must do experience), and still have a little time to buy a few handmade souvenirs from the locals before whisking us back to our ship with about half an hour to spare. Job well done!

Flacco was amazing. He knew everything from natural bio, diverse species of animals and plants and stopped to show us tracks of tapir even on the cave tour. He was very sweet when we were running a little behind and needed to get back to the ship he made it happen, he was really a fun tour guide to be with. I would highly recommend Flacco. If you can request him you should! Sincerely mom and 18 year old

Everything was stellar! Our guide Paul was exceptional! He stayed with us, let us know what was going on, was very knowledgeable and even recommended a perfect spot for lunch. He was so wonderful we asked him to join us!
The ruins were perfect for moderate activity and you could climb to the top.... if you were feeling an extra burst of energy.
Sandles are perfect for the hike in to the river and the caves were beyond anything I've ever seen before.
There's nothing I would add...or change!

All was great. The cave tubing was especially fantastic and so relaxing. This was one of the coolest family adventures we’ve ever experienced. The drive through the country side to the different activities was also relaxing. Paul w/ Private Adventures was an awesome and hospitable guide and very punctual picking us up at our hotel! If you are planning to have the guide drive you to the airport for a flight to one of the cayes, afterwards, make your flight reservation from the smaller municipal airport, only because it’s easier and less expensive to fly after the activities (suggested by tour operator).

Our tour guide Dorian, with Private Belize Adventures (501 6523163) provided a fun and fact filled day for my wife and I. We were picked up at our hotel, The Great House Inn, in Belize City and driven to the the Cave Tubing activity. We were introduced to our personal river guide, Cous, who shared the origins of the cave and its importance to the Mayan people. The walk to the river took 20 minutes, and the float down the river into the cave lasted an hour and it was spectacular-crystal clear and cool water. Dorian took us to a local restaurant where we ate authentic Belizien fare. Altun Ha did not disappoint! What an incredible site to see- a fascinating history of the Mayan culture. The steps to the top of the Sun God structure is not for the faint at heart. Thanks again to Dorian for giving us a glimpse of Belize and it's people.

It was a lot of fun. Our guide was great. Knowledgeable and very nice. There was a lot of walking and climbing, but we did the tubing after the ruins, so we cooled down in the water.

Amazing Tour! We lucked out and went on a day where there were no cruise ships, so we were one of maybe 10 people at the ruins. The drive was about an hour/ hour and a half from Belize City to the ruins. When we were at the ruins it was slightly drizzling so be careful as my husband slipped and hurt his need we are young and in good health so be careful if this is a concern. Cave tubing was awesome! The water was cool and refreshing when we went in early December. We had to walk about a half hour with a large tub so make sure you are able to. If you can, bring water shoes as you are required to wear some type of close toed shoe no flip flops. We ended up again being the only people going through the caves when we went we saw others coming out as we went up and down but had the caves to ourselves. It was quiet and eerie at some points but amazing.

We booked the private tour and it was wonderful! Our tour guide, Jerson, was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and general knowledge about Belize. We spent the whole day with him and really enjoyed his friendliness, sense of humor and professionalism. This was our first time to see Mayan ruins and they are quite impressive. The Cave Tubing is a must! Unlike anything we had seen before. We were glad we choose to include both locations on our excursion. FYI - It is required that you wear tennis shoes or pool shoes on the tubing. They rent 3 and sell 10 shoes there. Nice bathroom facilities at the Caves so you can change in and out of your suit there if you don't want to wear it under your clothes. You WILL get wet from your bottom down. We were very happy with this company and this excursion!

We had a nice time on this tour. Our tour guide, Davin, took the time to wait for our friends because we had gotten separated the day before. He was very knowledgeable and told about different plant species, termiteswhich three of us tried-nutty taste, and even showed us the money tree. The caves were phenomenal and the formations were intricate. This tour was the best, most relaxing experience. At lunch we tried gibnut, a local dish which was quite tasty actually. The three if us who had it could understand why Queen Elizabeth had it on her last visit to Belize. The Mayan ruins at Altun ha were impressive and 4 of us climbed all the way to the top of one structure and were rewarded by awesome views. We highly recommend this tour!

We were greeted by our tour guide holding a sign with my name on it which was absolutely great because we had no clue where to go meet because we had no wifi to pull up our voucher lol. Roberto Lopez was our amazing, very informative, very friendly, accommodating guide. We headed out to the caves for tubing, it's about an hours drive from the marina, and a 25min easy hike to the opening of the cave. The hike is very scenic but long. The river was calm so tubing and getting a history lesson about the caves was awesome! It's a short walk back after tubing. Next stop was lunch at a local restaurant along the way to Altun Ha, the food was great and the staff very friendly. The drive to the ruins was long, about a hour and a half so we didn't have a lot of time to spent visiting the ruins but because Roberto was very knowledgeable we learned a lot in the 30mins we were there. He was very conscious of the time we had to be back at the marina to catch the last tender, we made it back with 20 mins to spare! This was an awesomely amazing excursion made possible by our great guide Roberto! I will definitely book though this tour company again and request Roberto!

Our tour guide was absolutely amazing! So knowledgable, funny, and kind. I would have never expected such an amazing experience. The cave tubing was such a blast- I have never experience water so fresh. I recommend stopping by the coconut stand for a refreshment! The ruins were also beautiful. Our guide was incredibly helpful and well spoken. Would take tours from him again any time!
