Great day tour around Addis Ababa, learnt a lot from my friendly and knowledgeable guide Adisu and enjoyed a nice coffee break and local meal.
I found the National Museum of Ethiopia fascinating, and the view of the city from Entoto were excellent.
Overall a great way to spend a day in Addis Ababa.
The one day tour covered essential sites to see in Addis. Teshome was a great guide and I learned about Ethiopia’s history. The national museum, Menellik II mausoleum and the ethnographic museum were the best part of the tour. I wish tour includes access to Mount Entoto as we did not see the mountain but this was probably due to limited tour duration. I would recommend this tour for people who have limited time. The driver Teferi was also great at navigating the narrow and busy streets in mercato.
This was a great tour through various sites in Addis Ababa. Teshome is an excellent guide and he answered all my questions throughout the day. Teferi was the driver and he was very helpful. Highly recommended!
Tour was good, Only wish it was longer. Teshome was a great guide. Driver was great to, don’t remeber his name though
Interesting n comfortable tour, with a very knowledgeable guide Teshome n friendly driver Nebiyu. Went all places in itinerary plus more like shopping mall, Entoto Summit,. Shopping in mercato is very challenging if without the guide. View from Entoto is enchanting. LUNCH was superb with local cuisine n honey wine.
Best tour guide ever. Learned so much. By the end we were like long lost buddies. This was the absolute best

We thoroughly enjoyed our day tour. Teshome was an excellent guide, friendly, interesting and informative and took us to plenty of interesting places. We also had a traditional Ethiopian meal which was delicious. Our thanks also to the driver. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
Teshome was an amazing guide! Very kind, knowledgeable and attentive. The driver was amazing as well! As a solo female traveler from Canada I felt very safe with them and learned so much! Would recommend to anyone coming to Addis Ababa!
I had a day to spend in Addis and was able to share it with Teshome. He provided a great overview of the city and major sites! I mentioned I was looking for a football jersey and a scarf and he found a merchant who could offer me a fair price. I enjoyed my trip and would definitely book another tour in the future.
I had an awesome time the tour guide was highly knowledgeable friendly and really helpful I learnt so much about the history of Ethiopia and saw so much of the city, had a great meal and coffee I would highly recommend!
Booked this tour not knowing it was Ethiopian Easter.
A few of the places were not open but my guide Teka took me to the places that were open.

We had an excellent full day tour of Addis Ababa with Teshome. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and engaging from start to finish. He explained the history, culture, and architecture in a way that was easy to understand but still very thorough and insightful.
The tour was well organized and efficient, and the hotel pickup and drop off made the day completely seamless. We covered the major highlights without ever feeling rushed. Teshome answered every question thoughtfully and added context that made each stop more meaningful.
If you’re looking for a comprehensive and well run introduction to Addis Ababa, this tour is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend, especially with Teshome as your guide.
We had a very short stay in Addis Ababa so we took this day trip which turned out excellent. Our guide Teshome Antachew has good English and he explained well in detail about the places we visited. He was very helpful and attentive to our needs as we wanted to buy coffee and certain souvenirs. The driver was very cautious while driving too. I would recommend this guide without any hesitation to anybody.

National museum was very worthwhile. Lunch was mediocre Bti honey wine was enjoyable. Archaeologists information on LUCY was intriguing. Coffee break was tast
We had a wonderful tour in Addis Ababa and truly enjoyed every part of it. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun, and explained the history and culture in an engaging way. We especially loved visiting the local restaurants, where we tasted delicious Ethiopian food and learned more about traditional cuisine. The market visit was a highlight—colorful, lively, and full of energy, giving us a real feel for daily life in Addis. Everything was well organized, relaxed, and enjoyable. This tour was a perfect introduction to the city, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Addis Ababa.
Adisu was our guide and was truly exceptional. The tour provided us an opportunity to visit multiple sites and Adisu’s knowledge of the history of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, cultural elements and answering many questions we had was outstanding. I would highly recommend this tour.
Both guide and driver have been excellent. Unfortunately on Monday national museum was closed but the rest of the itinary (included lunch at a typical Ethiopian place) was perfect. To recommend

Amazing experience, the tour guide was so knowledgeable and informative. The places that we visited were deeply historical and awe inspiring. Wear good shoes and be prepared for a few stairs and lots of walking. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Addis

Luel (guide) and Yonas (driver) were fantastic! I have been in Addis for a week for work and haven't had the time to see the city. They were right on time picking me up from my hotel Saturday morning and it was a very small group tour. My highlights of the tour were the museums and lunch at Addis Ababa Restaurant. Luel walked us through the National Museum of Ethiopia and the Ethnographic Museum, explaining the importance of each display, giving us a real understanding of how they relate to the history and culture of Ethiopia. It was such an informative crash course on all things Ethiopia. At lunch, Luel helped me find a meat/sauce combination with the injera that I loved. I'd had trouble until then because I do not handle spice well but he was incredibly understanding and was very attentive to ensuring I ate enough and that I was enjoying the food. I so appreciate his knowledge, friendliness, and helpfulness throughout the day. I feel like at least I have come away from this trip knowing more about Ethiopia. I feel content that I got to see a wide swath of the city in the little time I had to explore it.

Luel (the guide) and Yonas (the driver) were fantastic! Luel was so knowledgeable and his English was perfect. His tour of the National Museum was full of info. I learned so much that I tried to take notes during the tour so I've at least remember some things. Unfortunately the market was closed on Sundays, so we couldn't visit that. I had the best macchiato of my life at Tamoca. I was a solo female traveler and felt completely safe and comfortable with them and was even able to leave my bags in the car at each of the stops.
I also appreciated their flexibility. They happily picked me up at a hotel after I changed my pickup location last minute, and they made sure I got back to the hotel with enough time to make lunch and my flight back. (I cut my tour short to do this - they also would have just picked up and dropped off at the airport too.) Luel also wisely suggested skipping lunch, which is normally part of the tour, and seeing landmarks instead since I didn't have time for the full tour. I had a 10.5-hour layover and we did a 4-hour tour.
They are so good I would come back to take a longer tour of Ethiopia with them in the future! 10/10
Side note to fellow travelers: you don't need to get a visa if you have a very long layover and get a hotel voucher from Ethiopian Airlines. It comes with a visa. I couldn't find anything online about this and got a visa for the layover tour, but that was a waste of money.
Our guide,Lou, was friendly and very knowledgeable. We was able to tailor the trip to our interests. We learned a great deal about Ethiopia and had fun doing it. Highly recommended.

It was a great tour. Teka was a wonderful tour guide, very authentic and knowledgeable about Addis Ababa. He is passionate about his country Ethiopia and he shared a lot of great information with us.
Really enjoyed this tour. Money wise it’s worth. Beautiful to see the Addis Ababa from the hill side. Visited many places and the guide was very nice, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
