A well informed historical and artistic experience.
Hassan is smart, knowledgeable and articulate. He has obviously spent a lot of time researching the history of Stone Town. He is also an artist and photographer. We enjoyed his company very much and we learned a lot. He listened to our questions and the answers were well-informed and honest. The whole experience was very much tailored to our interests and speed. We would love to return to Zanzibar to do other tours with him.

We had a fantastic...
We had a fantastic morning with Alfa, who provided us with a great overview of the history of Stone Town and Zanzibar. It was great being guided throught the winding streets learning about the different cultures that came to form what is now Stone Town. Highly recommend this tour 😊

Zanzibar
Make sure that you wear shoes that can pair of gloves because it rained and it’s kind of muddy cause you will be in the farm big bug spray because you’re actually walking through trees and mines inside but it’s very educational and it’s very informative the Stonetown tour and the prison tour were fantastic, and God was amazing

Excellent shore excursion
This tour was excellent and worked really well as a shore excursion. The meeting point was less than a kilometre from the ship. The tour was also a fraction of the price of a similar tour from the ship. Nassor was an excellent guide - friendly and very knowledgeable. Stone Town itself is really interesting and not to be missed in Zanzibar.
