Depending on how long you’re staying, you can choose: Seoraksan + DMZ or Missionary Memorial Hall + Syngman Rhee’s Villa + DMZ. If you’ve already been to Seoraksan, you can choose the alternative course instead. You can enjoy everything in Sokcho in just two days. On one day, take a healthy walking tour around the city. Most of the visitors to South Korea consider exploring the DMZ and tend to choose Gyeonggi-do routes that are mostly commercial, but this tour would likely be much more private and less crowded. Furthermore, this is an hour's drive away from the MT Seoraksan, so if you plan to visit the Seoraksan, you would be able to enjoy two attractions on one itinerary. Additionally, on the way back, you can enjoy North Korean cuisine for lunch and grab a chance to observe traditional Korean architecture.
