A fabulous way to see the lake. Our captain Peta was fun and very easy to talk to. The steps up to the monastery are worth it for the views and to se the old chapel. Wine on board was a welcome extra. The pretty town where you board is worth spending a while in too

Dimitrije picked us up from our hotel with a big smile and answered all our questions along the way and gave lots of information. Such an amazing experience, travelling on a wooden boat. Captain Nicolai was very helpful, talked us through the whole journey about the history of the lake and the surroundings. We were welcomed on the boat with drinks and local wine. Kingfisher is a well trusted company, highly recommended.

Amazing tour

What an awesome day it was! The scenery was truly breathtaking. The monastery, perched high in the mountains was unearthly, comforting the soul, no matter what religion a visitor might confess. But all five stars go to Dragan, the amazing tour guide, who rendered the best service ever. His easy-going manner, communication skills and thorough knowledge made the day complete. Wonderful trip to coastal monasteries

The trip to the 2 Monasteries with our guide Petar was really enjoyable he made it so interesting we learnt not only about their history and the life of the monks and nuns but also about the history and people of Montenegro . We had plenty of time at each stop and were made to feel so welcome by the nun that showed us around , we enjoyed the home made Turkish delight she gave us and it was as so relaxing sitting in the garden talking to Petar and the other guest on the trip . The final stop to a viewpoint above Sveti Stefan was amazing at sunset with views to the island and Budva Bay . We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it .

There is a lot of driving...

There is a lot of driving involved relative to the time spent at the main sights and the Tara Canyon was a little disappointing as all the books tell you it’s the second deepest in the world but the bridge is nowhere near the deepest part, which is essentially inaccessible to all but mountaineers. However, you do see a lot of the country. The reason for the five stars is our guide, Vladimir Markovic, who was excellent. As well as being a good guide with perfect English, he was a great travelling companion and we ended the trip as good friends.
