The 4-day Juatinga Travessia is a complete immersion experience in one of the most preserved areas of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest. Over the course of four days, travellers walk through paradisiacal beaches, crystal clear waterfalls, and trails surrounded by lush nature, while learning about the way of life of the cascade communities. Unlike a conventional trekking, the overnight stay is held in homes of local families, with homemade meals prepared on time, providing an authentic community-based tourism experience. Located in National Park "Serra da Bocaína" , this waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region, located 25km from the entrance to Paraty. The trail that gives access is very technical, despite not being too steep or too long, it is approximately 3km, covered in 2 hours at a leisurely pace through the protected forest.
