What are people saying about Khao Lak

Super organized
From the pickup in the morning around 8 a.m. to the return around 6:30 p.m. to the hotel in Khao Lak, it was a super organized tour. The trip by speedboat takes a little over an hour. Those who need them can get free motion sickness pills at the pier. You cannot starve or die of thirst on this tour. The team on board is totally friendly and accommodating. At the pier, you get suitable fins, an orientation, and also some refreshments. You can tell that the operator SeaStar also thinks about environmental protection and waste reduction. The coral reefs that you get to see are very impressive. You go from the speedboat to land by long-tail boat. Visiting the Moken village is also interesting, and you realize firsthand that not everything well-intentioned is ultimately good for everyone. The attempt to practice ecological tourism on Surin is honorable, even though the side effects are likely to be significant.

Sweet elephants!
We had so much fun hanging out with three beautiful female elephants. They seem to take great care of these animals and visitors are not allowed to touch the animals. We were able to prepare food for them, feed them by throwing bananas and sugar cane sticks near them and watched the oldest girl bathe in the river. It was an incredible visit.

Most beautiful excursion of our vacation
It was the best excursion we booked during our 2 weeks in Thailand. We particularly liked the small group size of 6 people. Parry did a great job and told us many interesting things about Thailand and the spots, and we had a lot of fun together. The tour was well organized, the food was also great, and the spots are truly unique. I can only advise everyone to book this tour and not those large group tours.

Wonderful
I booked this tour for myself and my three children (7, 11, 14). We all had a lot of fun. The tour of the market, where we learned a lot about different ingredients, was impressive. There was also the opportunity to shop for yourself afterwards. The preparation of the dishes was well explained, and everything was perfectly prepared. We prepared two appetizers, a curry, and a dessert. All the dishes tasted delicious and we arrived back at the hotel very full, but happy. Many thanks to Wandee and her team!

Khao Lak is famous for its beautiful beaches and easy access to the Thai islands. To explore the area with ease, take one of the many Khao Lak tours on offer––there’s something for everyone. Zip over to James Bond Island, featured in The Man With the Golden Gun; hop on a traditional bamboo raft for a serene turtle-spotting excursion; or admire elephants in their natural habitat at a sanctuary. Of course, no trip to Thailand would be complete without a cooking lesson, where you can learn to whip up classic Thai dishes such as red curry and pad thai.
