They will try their best to communicate with you using google translate. :) An English language instruction booklet will also be provided. Oshima tsumugi is a traditional Japanese silk fabric. The production process involves about 30-40 steps, from making the yarn to extracting the dye solution, and only after many years are they born. The delicate kasuri (pattern) dyed threads are woven one by one by the hand of weavers.
