What are people saying about Perito Moreno Glacier

Glacier awesome, boat ride OK.
We enjoyed visiting the Perito Moreno glacier. Our guide, Maximila (?), was very engaging and enthusiastic. She made the day great. I only gave four stars as the cruise really wasn't worth it. We enjoyed the views from the walkways much better. I think you could do this as a half day tour just by going to the walkways and have just as good of an experience.

Tour bus, tour guide and boat issues- Perito Moreno tour
We were transferred from the 12 person pickup bus to a 50-Seat coach which was disappointing as the larger coach had limited legroom for people over 180cm abd slow embark/disembarking. Also the tour guide explained the optional boat navigation repeatedly too many times and didnt stop talking all day long. It was tiring Finally The boat should have gone past the other faces of the glacier not just the South face. Several other boats travelled to different faces. Not a good value tour!

The glacier was...
The glacier was absolutely gorgeous and a must-see in El Calafate. The boat ride was worth it, but the minibus was only moderately comfortable and the tour wasn't truly small-group or semi-private. The park entrance fee was extra. Overall, $200 per person felt overpriced, but the glacier itself was unforgettable.
