As the founder and Product Director of Lalaland, I’ve often asked myself: if I could choose one instrument to represent China to the world, what would it be?The answer always comes to me clearly—the Guqin. If you wish to experience the soul of ancient Chinese music—the essence of the mysterious East—then the Guqin is your ultimate choice. I’m also honored to introduce my closest friend, who began her journey with the Guqin at the age of nine. With over three decades of dedication, she is now not only a celebrated Guqin performer at major events but also a university professor. If you’re in Chengdu and wish to explore the world of the Guqin, she is undoubtedly your ideal guide. Together, we have crafted what we believe to be the perfect Guqin program—one that thoughtfully bridges Eastern and Western cultural perspectives.
