Top Bath Day Trips

I booked the Stonehenge-Cotswolds tour with husband, as part of our wedding anniversary UK trip and it was wonderful, especially the Cotswolds! Highly recommend, and don’t miss the local cuisine! Lots of Harry Potter references, as well! Our guide, Andy, was amazing! Knowledgeable and entertaining, and so at ease. A major highlight of our trip!

This tour was fantastic. Esther with Rabbie’s was a fabulous guide. She gave anecdotes along the way which provided us with tidbits of interest. This made the drive between stops enjoyable. The stops to Stonehenge, Avebury, Lacock and Castle Combe were perfect with the right amount of time at each. Esther was very knowledgeable of each stop, with pertinent information that was helpful for managing our time at each stop.

This is an excellent tour for learning about the town of Bath. The tour guide, Mr. Owen Byrnes, was exceptional in many respects. As one might expect, he was very knowledgeable and well organized. Beyond that, Mr. Byrnes "went the extra mile" in very challenging conditions. The day presented significant hurdles for any tour guide. To begin with, there were college graduation ceremonies and celebrations throughout the center of town. On top of that, the day was really, really hot. Mr. Byrnes handled these challenges well. He maneuvered his group through the crowds and traffic well, managing to keep the group together in spite of everything. He also managed to find shade for the group in most places throughout the walking tour. His consideration was greatly appreciated by all. The points on the tour were well chosen, and Mr. Byrne presented them well. In particular, Mr. Byrne created a lovely tapestry for those interested in the town by weaving together places and names and dates.
