Discover Bordeaux's nighttime charm on a guided walking tour. See the city's landmarks illuminated, ride a tram, and explore the vibrant nightlife in Bacalan. See how the night reveals what the day dilutes: the perfect alignment of facades, the river's breath, and the reflections of the Water Mirror. Then, leave the postcard view to enter the city where locals live: the streets, shop windows, passages, and bars. Head to the longest pedestrian street in Europe: Sainte-Catherine. Continue to the Cathedral of Saint-André and the Pey-Berland Tower. By day, it's an institutional monument. By night, the cathedral becomes an apparition, sometimes subtly lit, sometimes magnificently highlighted during light events. Next, take a tram to experience the ambiance of Bordeaux's nightlife. Finally, arrive at the Cité du Vin. Admire the contrast between classic and contemporary Bordeaux. See the glass, curves, and mirrors of the modern architecture, beautifully lit.
