BoHan gave our group a very interesting and entertaining tourist experience, visiting the Cu Chi tunnels and learning so much about Vietnam during the war. She was so informative and friendly and treated us to a very special hands-on day out. The Mekong Delta cruise was great too, as was the coconut village tour where we got to see and purchase many of the handmade treats to take home. Finally, the river boat paddle ride completed our special day. A positive, enjoyable experience for everyone! Would recommend this tour to anyone. Thanks so much BoHan!!

Had a great time on this tour with Alex as the tour guide. He was very informative and spoke a lot about the history with us on the bus. He was loads of fun and kept the vibes high all day. Definitely recommend this tour!

This was an incredibly informative trip, especially enjoyed the history of the tunnels. Our guide was great with providing us with information. It is a long day of travelling and if we had more time I think we would rather split the two activities and do them on separate days for a more relaxed experience. It was a great day though.

Worth doing as a first timer to Vietnam – but honestly, expect to be rushed around everything at a very farcical and superficial level on this combo day tour. I half expect that on trips such as these, and honest that is fine: but we could have fit so much more in of the actual main attractions if we weren’t constantly stopping off at different food and local trader venues where you are expected to spend additional money.
Response from Host, May 2026
Dear valued guest! Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry the tour felt rushed and too focused on stopovers rather than the main attractions. Our intention with these visits is to offer a glimpse into local culture and support small businesses, but we understand this may not suit everyone’s expectations. We truly appreciate your comments and will take them into account to better balance the itinerary and improve the overall experience. Warm regards!

We had a 5 star tour with our exceptional guide, Phuc. Phuc was knowledgeable, polite, professional and fun. Our driver was also excellent. You could tell this guy is a pro.
We opted for the small group limo package and it’s WORTH IT. The seats are very comfortable and you get a more personal experience.
My favorite part was seeing local life on the delta. Highlights were riding in a small sampan under a magical canopy of water coconuts and cruising across the delta at sunset. Sublime, and a beautiful way to end our trip to Southeast Asia.

Lockie, was a fantastic tour guide, he sang and gave a great historical overview. The food and drink stops were great.

It was a beautiful day, full of interesting visits and nice experiences. The guide Ben was very good, he explained many things about Vietnam history, the horrible wars, traditions...
Hieu_N, Apr 2026
The DragonKing was our tour guide and he made the experience a lot more fun with his history and commentary. He made sure that our family of four were not only comfortable, but also saved room on each activity for us to stay together. The overall experience was excellent and I would definitely recommend.

Brilliant experience and felt less touristy than other day tours we had booked on to. Mr Chu was a great guide, and his family were super welcoming. The cooking lesson was so much fun, and the guy running it was a bundle of laughs - I can't believe how delicious the food we made was! We made Vietnamese pancakes, spring rolls, lemongrass marinated chicken and papaya salad. Would highly recommend, definitely worth supporting Mr Chu and his family's business :)

Justin was great. Super detailed history throughout all of the sites. Many different activities including the tunnels, traditional singing, and a boat ride.

Justin was a great tour guide! He was super engaging, friendly, and patient while guiding us through the entire experience. He had very thorough explanations and a great sense of humor. I also had an ankle injury and he was very accommodating in making sure I was okay. My friends and I had an amazing time and would def recommend this!

We were keen to see the Cu Chi tunnels and recommended this tour by a friend as a chance to 'see everything' in a day.
We were contacted the night before with instructions on what to wear / what to bring and forwarded a lot of historical info/videos about the Vietnam war and were collected at 7am from our hotel in the 'limo' booked (12 seater luxury minibus) as we met our guide for the trip Alex.
Alex takes his role as tour guide and chief propoganda officer very seriously - he has a lot of information mixed with a lot of opinions which he shares continuously and repetitively over the day. Not sure if the other tour guides were the same however I can honestly say - its exhausting, especially since we had some Americans in our group.
The CuChi tunnels are about 2 hours from Ho Chi Minh City and you get a brief stop on the way for refreshments and to bu souvenirs. When we arrived at the tunnels it was very busy and after another briefing from Alex made our way through the gift shop and into the tunnel area. There is a audio tour available to purchase which probably gave a lot of info and helped guide you round the site although we werent given the option. We were shown to tunnels to walk through, holes to hide in, demonstrations about the weapons used in the holes to ambush soldiers and the shooting range where you can purchase bullets to shoot either AK47s (750k for 10 bullets) or M60 machine guns (1.5m for 20 bullets) We went on a Saturday and not sure if thats why the place was so busy however it was CRAZY busy and you constantly felt rushed to the next area.
Then back to the bus for the 3 hour trip to the Mekong Delta. The drive itself is interesting as ou see the rice fields, unique house style of Vetnam due to their property taxes and mausoleums in the middle of fields throughout the countryside.
The Mekong Delta section of the tour involves getting a boat across the delta to Coconut Island. We were then shown to small wooden sampans for a short ride however a closed dam meant we needed to end the ride early. After some fruit sampling we then took a tuk tuk to a coconut sweet factory and then another boat to tast honey before heading back to the bus. Given the long drive to get down to the Mekong Delta I expected more - I expected more authentic Sampan or Umbrella boats, flotaing markets, time on the Mekong Delta - it just felt like a sales pitch for lots of little businesses trying to see chocolate and candy and honey.
When back on the bus we were all given a beer and stopped for Banh Mi fo the trip home - another 3 hours in the bus.
All together a VERY long day mostly spent in a mini bus. I would defiitely do the Cu Chi tunnels again however without the guide to allow for a more leisurely and informed chance to explore. And just sad that I feel like we missed a chnce to actually see the Mekong Delta as it should be seen.

Short time and hurry to see the tunnels. River trip not something interesting . Poor management. I expected more. Pushing to finish the program.
Doug_H, Apr 2026
Tunnels were great. Good learning experience. The delta…just ok. Guide was great although a little tough to understand.
Sarah_D, Apr 2026
Lockie was five stars. Sings like an angel, great information, friendly and absolutely hilarious.
Thanks for a fabulous day. Would 10/10 recommend.

I was unfortunate enough to be on the edge of the backseat of a very full mini van. The noise of the aircon above me made it difficult to what sounded like an interesting account of the history of Vietnam at the beginning of the tour. The young German woman said that she had water dripping on her. Fortunately our guide Justin, managed after visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels and lunch for her and her husband to transfer to another one of the companies vehicles.
The Cu Chi Tunnels were incredibly busy which meant after us having to wait for other groups to finish, our guide had to rush through a lot of it to keep to schedule, and we ended up skipping parts that other groups saw. The only advantage of being crowded was that you could listen into some of the guides from some of the other groups who seemed to be more knowledgeable.
After lunch which was plentiful and delicious we headed off on a two hour ride to our next destination. On arrival we were ferried across the river to see some of Mekong life.[Finally it was off to the row boat for a very short trip down the river before getting on a larger boat to be ferried back across the river. Following this was a two hour drive home.
Our guide, Justin was a very friendly and affable man who kept the tour to time under somewhat trying conditions. The long car trip from the tunnels could have been made a little interesting by telling us a little about some of the things we were passing, although given that the van was not fitted with a PA system, that may have been difficult.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Dear Roger! Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re sorry about the discomfort in the van and the crowded conditions at the Cu Chi Tunnels, which can sometimes affect the pace of the visit. We truly appreciate your kind words about Justin, he always does his best to take care of guests and manage the schedule under challenging circumstances. Your comments are very helpful, and we will share them with our team to keep improving the experience. We hope to have another chance to welcome you again in Vietnam! Warm regards!

This experience is a ‘must’! Although it was a long day, we saw and experienced so much, from exploring the tunnels and learning the history behind them, to sailing down the Mekong Delta after dinner!
Our guide, Dat, was just amazing and was very knowledgeable. He was happy and able to answer all our questions and throughout the whole day, was so helpful. We could not have asked for more!
Kamaljit_W, Apr 2026
It was a good experiane. Guide explained well and foods and refreshments met expectations.
Feed back: I was stunned when driver/guide refused to serve me water bottle on the ground that I have already taken water bottle. Tourist is entitle only for one bottle through out tour which really heart me.
Secondly please provide feedback to guide to explain little about some important and historical buildings/place while pasding through instead of talking with driver.
Tejaswini_N, Apr 2026
The tour to Cu chi tunnels and Mekong Delta was informative and enjoyable. Our tour guide dragon king (Mr. Long) was knowledgeable and told us many things about the Vietnam war and the Mekong Delta culture.
Rose_C, Apr 2026
It was a good tour although I felt the Cuchi tunnels were a bit rushed. Other guides were doing more stops. The rest of the trip was great.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Dear Rose! Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the tour overall. We’re sorry if the visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels felt a bit rushed. As the tunnels can get quite busy with many groups visiting each day, guides sometimes adjust the pacing to keep the schedule running smoothly. We appreciate your comment and will share it with our team to keep improving the experience. Warm regards!

We had an amazing day with Lockie and our driver Hero. The pick up was on time, the trip very pleasant, there was a lot of history, jockeys and singing 😁 Highly recommend the trip to anyone who doesn’t have a lot of time in Ho Chi Min and would want to see as much as possible.
Rebekah_M, Apr 2026
The day was excellent and Txanx (Tony) was an excellent tour guide. Very informative and a broad range of information. There are a couple of places where you need to tip, so have some smaller notes available. The day is long but plenty of opportunity to rest in between locations.
Weronika_G, Apr 2026
The whole excursion took around 11-12h. We rushed through the Chu Chi Tunnels part, skipped few stops on the tour, our guide was unable to answer questions (- for example how long it took to make one underground room). He either didn't know or couldn't understand, he kept repeating same things just to keep talking. I overheard other guides talking in a more interesting way, more knowledgeable, taking time at the each place. We could have done it but we were forced to be part of 50 minutes shopping "experience" with presentation of bamboo towels and underwear, walk through the whole shop without buying anything and waiting for the part to be over. Wherever we were taken it was to show us how they live or work, but really it was just another chance of selling something and give tips. If we skipped at least one of those we could have better experience at the historic part of the tour. I really wanted to like it, we had good small and friendly group of travellers, well working bus, lunch was tasty.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Dear valued guest! Thank you for your feedback, and we’re very sorry to hear that parts of the tour did not meet your expectations. Our Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta tour is designed as a full-day experience with several cultural stops to showcase local life and traditional crafts, which can sometimes feel commercialized as many families rely on tourism to support their livelihood.
We appreciate your comments about the guide and pacing of the visit, and we will share this with our team to improve the experience. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the group atmosphere, the comfortable bus, and the lunch, and we truly hope to welcome you again for a better experience in the future! Warm regards!

Booking was easy & the tour guide Jack was excellent. We enjoyed the day although the cu chi tunnels were very busy & a bit rushed. The drive to the Mekong Delta was well worth it, we throughly enjoyed the boat ride & coconut village. The bus picked us up from our hotel & dropped us back at the markets. It was much cheaper than the Trip A Deal optional tour.

Our guide Stephan has made our journey very informative and enjoyable. He kept motivating and making us comfortable all the time.
I would recommend. Thank you Stephan for such a great day.
