It's a good day trip. Our guide is funny and energetic. From pickup to drop off, everything is managed very well. We have enough time to enjoy Ha Long bay with stops and activities.

The drive from Hanoi is about 3 hours with at least 4-5 stops to pick up other passengers! The bus of 21 seats was full! The guide seemed tired and was not really into touring us! He had a nap on the way! Explained the trip very briefly and missed information about buffet lunch! It seemed like we were bothering him?? Ha Long Bay is a beautiful place but over crowded with boats & way too many people! It is not peaceful & Vietnamese there seem to be annoyed with the tourists! The cruise staff were okay but very slow in serving drinks & they tell you where to sit to have lunch and not by your own choice!! It was not a good value for our money! 6 hours drive and total of rushed 2.5 hours of lunch, cave, kayaking and not much of a beach more like a small polluted area to stand in the water! I do not recommend this tour!

We weren’t sure whether to go to Halong Bay due to time constraints but we were so glad we did the day option as it was so well organised and such a stunning experience. Definitely recommend the speed boat option which was great fun and we got to see most of the bay in half an hour. And experienced the mesmerising sunset on the top deck with a few cocktails. Perfect.

Our guide Jason was lovely, fantastic English level, funny, good energy and interesting history about the places we visited.
My recommendation would be to wear proper stable training shoes as there is quite a bit of walking up and down steps which can be uneven in places.
Set meal on the boat was ok, large servings, more than enough certainly.
All around good value for money, a nice place to visit, and a great way to do so 👍

I really enjoyed this trip to Halong bay. This trip involves all the activities I want to do in Halong bay in one day with a reasonable price. The tour guide, Tùng, is very professional and took care of the group very well. I would highly recommend it!

A lovely part of the world. You can’t avoid the crowds so accept that every location will be busy.
Food on the boat was lovely. Our tour guide (Minh) kept us updated along the way.
I would recommend this tour to others.

Halong Bay is a a beautiful place, but it is overcrowded, the water is very dirty, and it is a terrible tourist trap where every operator is trying to sell you stuff you do not want or need.
Guide was loud, obnoxious and his only interest was to sell us extra services. He started walking toward the boat about 25% of the tour still on the bus. Terrible experience
Only bright thing was the wait staff on the boat who was very attentive and easy to work with

Absolutely a “must”. Well organised tour, I was picked up in the morning from the hotel. We started with the pearl factory, went fast and it was pretty informative. Then we moved to the boat and spend the whole day cruising the Ha Long Bay. I also paid $10 for the speed boat activity and highly recommend it. Good was great, view were unforgettable and overall impression is five stars plus 👍.

It was good experience with my tour guide Alex. He’s knowledgeable guy and explains everything about culture and the Halong bay.
We started our journey from Hanoi. And traveled to Halong bay in the bus and after that change to ferry, and saw more than 100 or 1000 islands. I did kayaking, it was fun in the water.

If you get a chance to have Austin/Diep as your tour guide, then you're going to have a fun time. He's such a fun, funny, and energetic fellow. I also admired that he was very organized and made sure every tourist in his group was safely in the right place. If you ever ask about how he got his Vietnamese name, he'll tell you a funny and cute story. He's also very knowledgeable about history. Such a well-rounded gentleman. Highly recommend him as your tour guide.

We had a great time with Tinh. Pickup was seamless and we got a schedule of what was expected so we could plan and pick our activities before we got there. The boat was nice and spacious. The lunch included was delicious. Although in general the area is very congested with tourist—we still enjoyed our time there. We felt we got to see and experience the area. Driver was great as well!!!!

A great day out. Our guide, Tinh, was excellent and took us around the sights calmly. Halong Bay is very touristy which is to be expected so be prepared for crowds. I’m glad we chose the day trip as I feel we saw so much. The boat we went on was lovely - beautiful relaxing top deck, small plunge pool, bar etc. The lunch absolutely delicious (we chose the lunch upgrade). We paid extra for a speedboat trip rather than opt for kayaking (approx £7 pp for 25 mins) and it was wonderful. Got to go a lot further out away from the crowds. What an amazing place. Highly recommend

My friends and I had a great time on the Hercules Cruise to Ha Long Bay. Henry our tour guide was the best - he’s organized, thoughtful, on time and very friendly. We appreciated the care he put into making sure we arrive earlier to beat the crowds. His attention to the details and time does not go unnoticed not to mention all the knowledge he shared on the history, tradition and pride in Vietnam.

Had a wonderful day led by our guide, Sam. He shared a lot of great information throughout the day and managed to keep tabs of everyone through each stop.
The bus was very comfortable, the boat was nicer than expected, and the buffet had plenty of veggie options. There is a reasonable fee for drinks other than the tea and juice that is provided.
Halong Bay was beautiful and climbing Ti Top, the cave, and bamboo boat tour were all fantastic experiences. Just be aware that there is a bit or “organized chaos” from all of the boats at these locations.

What an amazing and informative experience! Alex was a wonderful tour guide. There are a lot of steps for the caves is the only warning I wish we had received. Besides that, it was an absolutely fun time and would definitely recommend!
