Batik, textiles dyed using wax, is a signature of Yogyakarta. Learn the art and bring home a beautiful souvenir at this batik-making class near the Prambanan Temple Complex. You’ll trace a pattern, outline it in melted wax using traditional “canting” tools, then dye it in sequence to bring out the brilliant colors. As soon as it’s dry, the work is yours to take home.
