Bogor Botanical Gardens (Kebun Raya Bogor) Tours and Tickets

The prop is very interesting re being in nature both wild and cultivated. People should know they need a certain level of fitness to walk up the river bed. It was well worth it. The guide Tio was very personable and knowledgeable guide and Aji a skilled and patient driver.

This was a day of walking, seeing Java’s fantastic vegetation, spending a day in nature with a knowledgeable and welcoming guide. I’m so pleased that Bryan was my guide. I came away feeling that I had spent a day with a friend. My favorite activities are walking in streams, learning about a country, eating good food, and being far from touristy attractions. This tour gave me all that and a chance to see neighborhoods far from Jakarta proper.

The day exceeded our expectations: the botanical gardens were beautiful, the waterfall walk exciting (remember your flipflops although they can be purchased at the sitr as well), monkey family adorable, rice fields serene and lunch in the middle of the fields was delicious.

Guide Gibran was great! Very friendly and very personable. Driver Mr. Man was quite professional in tackling the heavy traffic in both Jakarta and Bogor. We were with them for almost 10 hours from pick up to return to hotel. The botanical garden visit was very informative and beautiful. We had a quick visit to a puppet maker to observe his unique craft. He had puppets or masks for sale— gorgeous, but just not for us. The waterfall hike was aggressive and too much for one older member of our party. If you can make it up to the 3rd waterfall, you’re in for a beautiful view! Seeing rice growing and being tended was certainly a different experience. The lunch spot was In the rice field, so quite a unique setting. Because the traffic in the area can be heavy and unpredictable, you might have to spend more time in the car than you expect. It was worth it and we Really enjoyed the day’s activities! Had a lovely trip with Jeffry & the lovely driver …very informative guide …took care of me to the max …they even helped me in taking lovely photos ….trip was great and the peeps were great too Car is big and clean , air conditioned , water bottles were supplied …

It was a lovely experience driving from Jakarta to Bogor for a multi experience trip. Ivan was great and Mr Man the driver was ever so helpful. I loved the history behind puppet making and even bought to masks.

We had a very good and knowledgeable tour guide Gibran who led and walked with us into all the places of interest and we also had a very skilled driver Mr Man who made our trip much easier and smoother. We would highly recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed that tour and the professionalism of our guide super Ivan. It was a day filled with a mix of things to see and relaxing at the sametime.
