The Reserve is located on Maputo Bay 100 kilometers from Maputo and it is a conservation area and its 1040 km2 big (only 173 Km2 smaller than New York City – water and land area), the reserve combines lakes, wetlands, swamp forests, grasslands, mangrove forests with a pristine coastline We have 2 main beach spots to camp at Maputo Special Reserve: Dobela and Membene. Driving around the reserve towards our campsite, you will find the vast open areas where elephants and other plain games refresh themselves; you will drive pass different fresh water lagoons with a lot of great variety of birds, hippos, and crocodiles.

Explore bush and bush in 1 tour, day 1 you will enjoy a safari and at Lunch we arrive at this amazing Resort where we will serve you lunch. After lunch you can enjoy the beach. The second day, wake up early to watch the sunrise right from your chalet or a walk on the beach, before we start the safari out of the park after breakfast. During this day also you will drive pass some beautiful lakes where you can watch some hippos and crocodiles.
