Great food tour experience!
Great experience! I recommend this tour! Our guide, Chloe, was very nice and very knowledgeable. There is so much food included, make sure you arrive hungry. I also really like the Jeepney and side-by-side ride on the way to the different food venues.

Amazing tour very easy flat ride
We are a couple from Manchester, UK, and we cannot recommend the Bambike Ecotours bamboo bike experience in Intramuros highly enough – it was genuinely one of the most unique, fun and memorable excursions we’ve ever done in the Philippines. From the moment our wonderful guide Justine greeted us with a warm smile at the Casa Manila meeting point and helped us choose our handmade bamboo bikes, we knew we were in for something special.
Justine was an absolute star – the perfect Bambassador! His knowledge of Manila’s Spanish colonial history is encyclopedic, but what really stood out was how he brought the old walled city to life with such enthusiasm, humour and genuine passion. Pedalling through the cobbled streets and along the ancient walls felt magical, and Justine made every stop fascinating. At Fort Santiago he shared moving stories of its dramatic past that gave us goosebumps, while at Manila Cathedral and the beautiful plazas he pointed out little details we would have completely missed on our own. He kept the pace relaxed and safe, made sure we all stayed together in our small group, and was so patient with our questions and photo stops.
The bamboo bikes themselves were brilliant – sturdy, surprisingly comfortable and such a lovely eco-friendly touch. Justine was brilliant at giving tips on the ride and even cracked a few jokes to keep everyone smiling through the heat. We loved the little extras too: plenty of filtered water refills, a refreshing cold towel at the end, and that surprise local ice cream treat which hit the spot perfectly.
Everything ran like clockwork from start to finish – professional, safe, and with that personal touch that made the whole day feel like a lovely adventure with a friend rather than just another tour. Five-star service and a five-star experience all the way. If you’re in Manila, do not miss this! It’s the best way to see the historic heart of the city.
Thank you so much, Justine – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Honza (Jack) was a...
Honza (Jack) was a fantastic guide. He met us where we were staying and helped us get on the tram. Very friendly. Incredibly knowledgeable and eager to share information. We walked about 2.5 miles and he was attentive to any need for a break (bathroom or hot beverage). Very responsive to all our questions and got us to the astronomical clock right at the hour. Tailored the tour to our interests as we walked around.

Best souvenir gift you can give yourself!
Take a cooking class, it's the best souvenir you can give yourself and it lasts your lifetime and you can share it with others. I enjoyed my cooking class with Cheryl. She was very through on explaining everything. I was the only person in the class and she was graceful enough not to cancel. I recommend this cooking class, have fun and learn to make yummy things!

Nell is the best!
The guide for my Manila food tour of Bidondo, Nell, was so fantastic. She was knowledgeable, kind, passionate, and a great host and guide through the winding streets and vibrant cultural landscape. I've done many food tours and this was the best one I've done.

Amazing place to visit
This was a great opportunity to see a magical place. Richard was an awesome tour guide., and very knowledgeable. Very easy to talk to.
Since I was a solo traveler, and the only one booked for that day, it was really special to have the trip go well. Ronald was a great driver, and a pleasure to talk to as well.

Highly recommended Manila activity
This was the only tour we booked during our trip to Manila and I'm so glad we did. The last time I went to Intramuros was when I was a young child so to come back as an adult, it felt different and I understood the history a lot better and appreciated the Philippine culture a lot more. We came a bit late but our tour guide was nice enough to wait for us. From the start of our tour, I thoroughly enjoyed the background, the insight, and the physical artifacts that supported the whole tour. Intramuros/Fort Santiago is a bastion of Philippines history and to be able to hear more about Jose Rizal's contribution to Philippines independence made me more proud to be Pilipino. Seeing the dungeon where many people suffered and perished was nothing short of heartbreaking. I can only imagine the pain and helplessness of those who were left in that dungeon. After that, I enjoyed the small break with our sorbetes (ice cream) and water. After Fort Santiago, we came to Manila Cathedral. It was also my first time seeing that church. It's not as big and grand as other cathedrals in other countries but the inside was very ornate and looks wonderful. It's amazing to see the headquarters of the Philippines Catholic Church. The kalesa ride was pretty fun. It was our first time. Also, to have a driver who knows the history of the area was an added bonus. He was also pretty funny so we had a great time while riding the kalesa. After the ride, we ended up in San Agustin Church. When we got there, there was a baptism that was happening so we weren't able to get in but we still got a historical lesson of the church. Last but not least, we got to see the Plaza San Luis Complex where a grand house was set up to look how it was back during the Spanish colonial times. It was great seeing antique furniture and all the accoutrements that were used back in the day. It was also interesting to see how this mansion came about. I won't get into more detail for potential people who want to do this activity but you will be surprised. Overall, I highly recommend this activity, especially if it's your first time in Manila or you're just curious. Our tour guide was awesome, engaging, and very knowledgeable.

Guided tour through intramuros
Victor was an informative and attentive guide. If you are visiting from outside of the Philippines, this is a good way of learning about the cultural and historical background of intramuros. Many areas I would not have recognised the significance of, or how to find them, without assistance. Casa Manila was a particular highlight, with its intricate decor.

A thorough and enjoyable tour!
Jian was a wonderful guide. I ended up being the only guest that day, so I got a private tour with him, which was fantastic, personal, and allowed for a lot of detail. We toured the St Augustin Church, Casa Manila, and the Fort Santiago plaza. Weather rained us out for a longer stay at the Fort and Manila Cathedral, but that left room for a Tricycle ride through Intramuros and a deeper discussion over coffee, between locations. Highly recommend Jian and his company for this and the other tours they offer. If we're back in Manila I'll definitely look for more experiences with Jian!
