Good Experience

Great hike. Long but totally doable. Our guide was an amazing individual with deep experience. The trail does not need a guide on a good day but when the weather gets worse it is good to have someone. Our guide was an experienced hiker and less a guide. My only feedback to the guide is to check up on the group, set the right pace. we were the only two people on the group.

Amazing experience!

Amazing experience! Very well organised with nice lunches and dinner provided. The whole trekking and lake is amazing (even though it the elevation to laguna de los tres might be a bit hard for absolute beginners)

A super fun day!

Just book this!! 100% recommend. This is a challenging hike and Lee was an excellent guide. Patient, informative, safety first - she is quickly able to read all of our abilities and adjust the pace to our skill level. She kept us on time and we completed the entire hike. Also met some wonderful people in the small group. I honestly think I would have given up near the end had I attempted this one my own (traveling solo). Thank you, Lee. You’re the best!!

Great way to see entire park

Transportation was easy to find. We got two packed lunches with plenty of food and dropped off at Rio Eléctrico which is a huge advantage because you save yourself an uphill climb from el chalten. Previous reviews made me nervous about finding the trails so I downloaded the trail on All Trails which is accurate. We had perfect weather so we would have been fine without the trail downloaded. Sometimes the trail branches but it all comes back together anyways. To find the camp, the guide explained what sign to look for so make sure you understand that! The host at the camp was so sweet and accommodating. He made us a three course dinner with a glass of wine, booted up his wifi connection to check the weather for us, and also made us breakfast with hot coffee. We went up the Fitz Roy/Laguna de los Tres on the first day because of the weather forecast. So Day 2 for us was a late morning start and a an easy steady hike to see Cerro Torre and make it back to El Chalten by 4:30. Overall it was exactly what we wanted!

This tour was an incredible experience. My guide, Naher, was the consummate professional. She taught me so many interesting things about the nature of El Chalten, and led the tour at a fun and challenging pace. She was also very game to take pictures of me at various spots and was incredibly personable. I fully recommend booking a tour with her!

Highly recommended hike

We chose a shortened trek and did not attempt the climb to the top due to the rocky steep and unstable base. It didn’t reduce the delight in the fantastic scenery or photographic possibilities. Our guide Paolo was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. One warning, the mosquitoes at Lago Capri were viscous.

Fabulous day out and well worth the effort

The views, the landscape, flora, fauna. But best was the guide Leandro. (Yochi?) I really struggled with a first time knee issue on the descent. Leandro was great and made sure I got down ok. My fellow travellers were wonderful too offering assistance and help. Thank you
