If you’ve always wanted to hike in the Amazon jungle but have been nervous to do so on your own, try this Lago Sandoval and Canopy Tower Full-Day Tour from Madre de Dios. This experience takes you to Peru’s National Reserve of Tambopata under the safety of a guide who knows the area. Hike to Lago Sandoval, take a canoe ride on the lake, and then head to the reserve’s Canopy Tower—all the while learning about the wildlife and ecosystem of the jungle.

Head out on a journey along the Tambopata River on this three-day excursion. The multi-day trip includes activities like jungle walks in the forest; a visit to the Chuncho Clay Lick to see the macaws; a trip to Tres Chimbadas Lake, where you can see monkeys, caimans, and giant otters; and the chance to go piranha fishing (optional).
