Highly Recommended with Kyushu Immersion

I was impressed by the overall service provided by Kei from Kyushu Immersion. Knowing that it was my first visit to Beppu with my family, he has given good recommendation of some of the to-go places within the time frame. When I told him that I found out about the Kyushu Wildlife Park African Safari, even though he has never organised a tour to there, he had gone the extra mile to find out the details, customised the original itinerary to fit what I wanted. As the day of the visit happened to be the King's birthday (23 Feb), he had also given me the heads-up on the crowd, waiting time as well as the sold-out situation of the tram. At the same time, he planned the time well such that we are still able to visit some of the most popular and must-see places in Beppu. Time was well-spent and impressed by his attention to details as well. He was very courteous, kind and knowledgeable. I was very impressed by the overall planning as well as his level of service provided. Would definitely highly recommend him to any visitors to Beppu and should I revisit and require tour guides, I will not hesitate to reach out to him again.

A wonderful private tour of Beppu with professional patient guide. Worth its price!

A wonderful private tour in the guide's own car. Hence only 5 per party. However, Kyushu Immersion group helped us arrange for 6 family members to share one lovely guided tour of the Beppu! We did all the must see springs and sights of Beppu without any stress. No rush of one attraction to the other. Nor jostling with large groups of other tour groups. Our guide Jun was so kind and patient with all of us. We had mobility issues and yet could be accommodated. This is a must do tour if you rather have leisurely trip without any stress.

Way better than a bus tour!

Private tours are a great way to visit the sights of Beppu. For less than what we would have paid to do a bus tour shore excursion from our cruise ship, we had a private English-speaking tour guide (Ayu) who could answer any questions we had about what we were seeing and life in Oita Prefecture. Since we moved at our own pace, not only were we able to see all seven of the “Hells of Beppu,” we also got to steam a snack in a hot springs restaurant, visit a monkey park and have a delicious meal of local noodles and mochi. Plus, the guide took photos of us with her own camera and sent them to us later. I highly recommend this experience for anyone who is tired of big bus tours and likes personalized touring.

Great personal experience

Kei was a wonderful tour guide. He took us to to eat at a small diner with great food. The vehicle was clean and very comfortable. We wanted to have a personal experience and my family enjoy our time in Beppu . Got to see hell and a few other places. We had a great time if you want a one on one personal experience go with Kei.

Our tour guide, Ayu, was great! We were able to see all the Hell holes, do some shopping and enjoy a great lunch with her guidance. Ayu is personable, warm and attentive.
