Outanding value for money - a must do in Tauranga
Very interactive and knowledgeable driver. Stephen was ours and he was great fun. We saw lots and lots of great things and our trip to waterfall park was just great, along with tastings of kiwifruit juice and green and gold kiwifruit portions. Then came 3 kinds of manuka honey to try - outstanding! Lots of Pukeko birds freely wandering around.

A great way to learn more about Māori culture
We knew very little about the Maori people and their history and culture, so this trip provided us with a great introduction, along with the chance to see some of the natural wonders also on the property. The cafe on site offered up some great baked treats (savory pies and apple tarts) at very reasonable prices. Our guide Robert was very friendly and informative (and a good driver, too) and the small group we were with made travel quite easy, so I’d recommend this trip for anyone visiting the area. The stop at the kiwifruit farm was a nice addition as well…

Excellent tour and exceptional
Fabulous tour and exceptional customer service. I made a grave mistake and showed up 45 minutes late (thinking I was 15 minutes early). Our tour had to leave without us - understandably! But Zealandiier tour operators did their best and got us on a different tour that met up with our original one and we were able to join it. Everything we saw was superb. The Māori performance was excellent- interesting and informative, and we are returning home knowing far more about kiwis than the average person. Our tour guide Jan was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Well
Done. I have no reservations about highly recommending this tour and this operator. Thank you!

It’s a structured & well curated small group tour through Hobbiton which allows for the guide to give detailed information to attendees and plenty of time to look at and admire the attention to detail deployed throughout the entire site.

A very enjoyable tour. We were 20 minutes early but the rest were even earlier, so we started the tour 15 minutes early. Covered a lot of the area from different spots around the coastline and viewpoints. Russel, the owner, obviously knew his stuff so was very informative.
The kiwi fruit tasting may sound underwhelming, but it capped the tour off. Tasted three different types, plus avocado and avocado oils, and local spicy sauces. All this at a kiwi plantation where you see them on the plants.

Rotorua Maori Village
Very efficient and organised pick up at the entrance to the cruise port.
Saskia was an extremely knowledgeable guide, making the drive to Rotorua really interesting.
The Maori village was amazing, the cultural show of traditional song and dance was both uplifting and moving.
Absolutely no worries about getting back to the ship on time.
100% recommended

Tauranga: 5 star tour and guide
We enjoyed a fabulous day with Robert who picked us up from the Cruise port. Very convenient and stress-free! He took his time to show us all the sights around Tauranga before starting us on the drive to the geothermal Valley. As a retired school, principal, Robert made the hike through the Geothermal Valley most interesting with knowledgeable insights about the region’s geological features, flora, and birds. He made many stops to allow us to take photographs of the landscape. The boat ride on the lake was the cherry on the day’s tour: the captain took us right up to the boiling furmoroles. We had great pictures!

Great tour
This was a great excursion to see sights in the area. I'm sure our guide Richie made this even better, he was full of interesting information about the area and gave us enough time to enjoy the various stops. Loved the tree walk, glowworms, the stops at the thermal pools and lake and of course the kiwi farm.

WOWSA - A must do!
WOW! Just WOW. This was an amazing experience. Pablo, our guide, did a great job of instructing, communicating, and keeping us safe throughout. Like everyone else says, exhilarating and definitely bucket list worthy. A shout out to all staff here as each was friendly and they worked super well together as a team.

Lakes, forests, waterfalls and Māori legends.
An excellent guide with good knowledge of culture and geography. We were given a choice of activities including visiting lakes, waterfalls, high level walking in Redwood forests and thermal foot baths, plus coffee and bakery. Erin provided snacks and an informative commentary. The history she shared enhanced our tour. A good level of walking, it was most enjoyable in a very comfortable vehicle.

Mt Maunganui to Rotorua - mud glorious mud!
We walked off the ship and along to the area where tours are gathered. A little market was happening nearby. Gorgeous area.
Take a photo of your tour company name so you can recognize them
Great trip to Hells gate. Paul was a great guide. Thanks for the toilet stop.
Fascinating to see the thermal spas. Plenty of time to see it all.
