Top Northern Territory Safaris

Finding barramundi around Darwin is tricky without local knowledge or your own boat. Head out on a private fishing trip with a guide, choosing freshwater fishing at Corroboree Billabong or Shady Camp, or saltwater fishing at Darwin Harbour, the Adelaide River, or Bynoe Harbour. Your guide handles transport, so there’s no need to rent a vehicle.

Uluru, Kata Tjuta, and Kings Canyon are spread across a vast stretch of the Red Centre, which makes them hard to combine on your own. Travel with a guide and camp under the outback sky, taking guided hikes in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and Watarrka National Park. Watch Uluru at sunrise and sunset, when the light shifts across the rock.

Catching both sunset and sunrise at Uluru means an overnight stay, which is hard to arrange on your own. Spend the night in a comfortable permanent tent with proper beds and linen, with the logistics and meals handled for you. See the rock at both ends of the day, walk among the domes of Kata Tjuta, and join a walk with an Indigenous guide.
