Fantastic day out. Lloyd had so much knowledge about Darwin and pointed out many interesting places on the way to view the crocs. Dylan our boat captain was also very knowledgeable and safety conscious. Great day. Huge croc at the end was unbelievable.

Tour Guide on bus very friendly and informative. Plenty of stops en route and on return with opportunities for rest breaks and drinks/snacks. A lot of information provided about the general areas we passed through. The Croc tour on the boat was very interesting and brought numerous crocs up close to the boat. Very informative commentary about crocs and their habits.

The river trip was brilliant. The guide Dylan kept us safe and entertained and the crocs were great. We were stuck at the back of the bus, low down so could not see or hear much. The added stops were a waste of time.

    Worth the time and cost

Good chance to see the country side. Plenty of crocs in the river. Saw them jump. Picked us up and dropped us off at the cruise terminal

    Bad booking

    Haydn_B, Apr 2026
You booked us on a day you don't operate on. And its verry hard to navigate change to another day to fit in with our holiday

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Sorry for the confusion. In future it is better to book directly. Third party platforms aren't always up to date with days and times that are available.. I hope you still enjoyed the tour.

Good trip… maybe spend more time at the croc sanctuary?

    christine_j, Apr 2026
It was a good trip, but I would have liked more time with the crocs. Spent a short time with the crocs, then a long drive to the ‘wetlands’ and a stop in a pub. Would’ve liked to explore the rest of the ‘cric’ sanctuary as they had loads more animas to see.

    The Croc Bus

It was great and well worth the fee and your time. The bus operator and the croc boat operator explained a lot along the way.

Must have that once in a lifetime.

Lloyd our guide was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained during the trip. The jumping croc cruise was amazing .. huge crocs that didn't disappoint in showing us why they're the so unpredictable. The clap of their jaws is something I never want to be in the middle of.

    Crocs and more crocs!!!!!

    Vivian_S, Sept 2025
Our driver Lloyd was full of knowledge and made the drive to our destination entertaining. Dylan our skipper made us feel at ease despite the fact that our boat was always surrounded by a croc. Dylan was very passionate and it was evident that he loved his job. A great experience seeing crocs in there natural habitat. Highly recommend.

    Fantastic

    Amazing!

Really impressive. You see those amazing crocks super close. They are trully scary but we felt totally safe. The guide Lloyd and the one in the boat were also great!

    Amazing Croc/Nature Experience

    Catherine_W, Aug 2025
This was an amazing tour!! It was fantastic to see the big crocs (and cute 'lil crocs) out in their natural habitat on the Adelaide River! The river ride was nice as well, very pretty river, other birds and wildlife around as well. Our guide, Dylan, was very entertaining and informative. He has great knowledge of crocs and other wildlife of the area, while being entertaining and humorous throughout. Everyone was safe and had a good time! A trip to the top end would not be complete without a trip on the croc bus to the river with this group!! A must do!!!

    Awesome Croc Jumping Tour

    Lindsay_A, Jul 2025
Today we were picked up by Lloyd, our tour guide, on the Croc Bus for the ride to the famous jumping crocodile cruise on the Adelaide river. On the way we stopped at the Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve, an area of wetlands teeming with birdlife, buffalos and crocodiles. We also saw a huge golden orb spider, common to the area. Lloyd was very informative about the history of the area and of the flora and fauna. At the Adelaide river we were met by Dylan, our cruise captain who took us to see the jumping crocs. Dylan knows all about the crocs and calls them by name, Dominator, Stumpy, etc. Dominator rules the roost and every other croc gets out of his way at feeding time. On the way back we stopped at the Humpty Doo hotel where the world's biggest set of water buffalo horns hangs above the bar. Time for a quick beer and then back on the road back to Darwin. Thanks Lloyd and Jake for a great morning

    Enjoyable, insightful and learning trip

Learn a lot of the ego system along the way to Adelaide River, the driver and guide provides an insightful about the flora and fauna of the trip

    Best tour ever

    Lauren_A, Apr 2025
Daz and Dylan are such good tour guides so funny and very informed on everything. We couldn’t ask for a better tour one of our favourites on the trip. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Darwin you won’t regret it!

    Fun

Plenty of crocks. Courtesy stops along the way. Small bus. Careful driver. One hour on the river to view jumping crocks

    Absolutely brilliant !...

Absolutely brilliant ! Highly recommend great laugh from the time your picked up to dropped off, very friendly and bubbly and a great experience!

    Excellent crocodile views.

    Melissa_M, Oct 2024
Great experience, my only negative was the bird watching drive prior to arriving at that river. Didn’t sign up for bird watching, would’ve rather stay on the boat longer to see more crocodiles than sitting on the bus looking at birds for 30 minutes or so.

    Worth while the tour

    Suzanne_D, Oct 2024
Online booking was very easy. Pickup right on time Tour guide is very informative and funny. Had a few stops along the way. On the cruise the tour guide also very informative saw lots of crocodiles up close.

    Good 1/2 day tour

    Anna_A, Oct 2024
Being close to the crocs seeing them jump up was exciting. The brothers that run the croc park are both really nice young men. Family business started by their grandfather. The drive through fogg Dam is also nice. The whole day went well. Also Thanks to the driver/guide.

    Up Close & Personal!!

    Lisa_C, Sept 2024
Can’t praise this tour enough!! We were super lucky to have a VERY up close and personal experience with Brutus on our trip.. So very thrilling indeed. We always felt safe, regardless of Brutus’s attempt to launch himself onboard. It was my third time taking this tour…always just simply fantastic!!

    Loved the experience

Dazza (Darryl)was amazing and he had a tough crowd who didn’t get his Dad Jokes but he was very informative even thought his microphone was not working and needs to be replaced. Please give him a new one.

    Fantastic tour

    Lyn_D, Sept 2024
Jake and bus drivers are really entertaining. Love the Fogg reserve and we saw lots of crocs in the Adelaide river- 2 monsters Dominator and Brutus . Easy pick and drop offs. Highly recommend this tour.
