We had a wonderful day with our friends tasting wine at two beautiful wineries. The wine FAR exceeded our expectations. We also had an incredible meal at one of the wineries. My friend and I had a great experience attending The Doors of San Miguel 4-hour painting workshop. We were delighted to have the workshop led by master painter Fernando, whose encouraging teaching style immediately put us at ease. He guided us through the process step by step with a thoughtful approach that made even the most intricate details feel manageable. His method was incredibly well-structured and easy to follow, whether you were picking up a brush for the first time or had prior experience. We especially appreciated how much we learned in just four hours. We walked away with not only a finished piece inspired by the iconic doors of the city, but also a handful of new techniques we’re genuinely excited to continue practicing beyond the workshop. It struck a perfect balance between creativity and instruction, making it both relaxing and rewarding. We would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone looking to connect with their creative juices in a fun and meaningful way.

Must do!

Our host Diego was very friendly and helped prepare us for everything we needed to bring and what to leave home. Our pickup was seamless and the breakfast option was fantastic (and vegetarian friendly)! We had fun conversation in the comfortable SUV and he handled our noisy kids in the third row like a champ! Tolantango was a wonderful experience. The hot pools were sublime on their own, but I wasn't expecting such a magnificent canyon view beyond them! The cave/tunnel was our family's favorite part of the trip and it was the most unusual part. Traversing through warm water while cold water pours upon you is invigorating! Our older two kids are confident swimmers and had no issues, but we held close to our youngest. Be mindful of bringing too many little ones that aren't strong swimmers. Lunch was great and so was swimming in the river. Although we didn't get much time there and that felt rushed. But it was kind of expected when we have so much distance to cover in one day. Overall wonderful experience for our family we would recommend anyone to try! Note: we went on a weekday and especially the hot pools were fairly crowded (but not too bad). I've heard it can be much worse on the weekends.

We had a wonderful experience! Our guide, Jalal was excellent! She loves Guanajuato and it shows in the way she speaks about the city. Marco, our driver was excellent as well. We booked a group tour but there was just the two of us. We traveled by car so it turned out to be a private tour. It was a lovely day and not too crowded. It’s a beautiful city. We would highly recommend this tour.

Must do for the whole family!

This was an awesome trip! 3 kids (8,6 and 4) and one senior citizen were also in our group and they all had a blast. The variety of things to do there was an awesome surprise and our tour guides literally thought of everything- from blankets for the van ride, to a beautiful riverside picnic at the end of the day, and headlamps etc.

Had a small snag scheduling but the operator made things work and all turned out better than we could have asked. Our ride didn’t have singing, but our guide, Nicolas, was interesting, kind, and helpful. He even threw in some Spanish speaking lessons for my wife. He could not have done better. Our pickup process was smooth and lunch was great. I highly recommend.
