We were so lucky to be the only couple on an early morning tour in Split, with our lovely tour guide Sandra.
We were given lots of local historical information about the area. The facts about how life in Croatia used to be thousands of years ago were good as were the little tips on looking up at things carved into buildings and what they meant.
Sandra was good fun, and we learnt alot on our tour. The tour went so quickly, we would happily have carried on chatting, we will be back! Thank you.

Great walking tour , Sandra was very informative, we learned a lot about the history of Split as well as a lot about the myths. She made suggestions for restaurants. Leo was such a great tour guide. He went at a good pace, stopping at the important and notable spots. He was funny and he knew alot about the Diocletian palace and the history behind it. Our tour guide Sandra was very nice and informative. We were the only people in the group so it was private for us. She brought us all around Diocletian Palace and took our picture wherever we wanted too.

Really enjoyed the walking tour of Split which covered the corners of the palace. My friends and I took the tour the night we arrive which gave us a great orientation of the town. Our guide was pleasant and informative and you can tell he had a passion for his work.

Nice tour, unfortunately a lot of distractions occurred during the tour. Many tourists walking though the group during the group discussion and also loud music from local concert made it very hard to understand the tour guide. She was very knowledgeable.

This was a good walking to tour but a) through no fault of the guide, there weee several areas of the Palace that were inaccessible due to the City’s upcoming festival and b) it was the guide’s first tour ever. She was nervous, which is understandable but “confess” until the very end. I think that if she had told us at the beginning we would have been more patient and asked more questions. I wish her luck. I think she’ll be great with some practice.
We did learn some interesting facts about Split and Diocletian etc.

Our tour guide Leo was super personable and nice. He paid attention to each member of our family and answered many questions. He clearly knew a great deal about Split and we all learned a lot! He was even kind enough to take pictures of us and send us restaurant recommendations. We had dinner at Bokeria last night and it was excellent! We also had drinks at Luxor - so thanks Leo!
